This is one of the first AAA games in awhile that has me hooked.
Combination of beautiful visuals and rewarding boss fights that aren't too frustrating.
Anyone else pick this up?
I hate Souls like games with the tedious dodge-dodge-dodge-rush in-attack mechanism
Is this THAT type of game? or is it more like recent God of Wars than Souls?
interested in playing it, but in no hurry to start since I have to start and complete my annual playthrough of Far Cry 5 this week.
More souls-y than the modern GoW games.
Much less souls-y than anything FromSoftware has released, but more than Jedi Survivor.
I like that it's linear for the most part, but you can still go back to visit optional bosses may Bosses so far have all been very different and the game is not too challenging. It has been a lot of fun so far.
I loved Far Cry 5. Montana was a genius setting for a FC game. None of the others in the franchise have grabbed me like that one.
