Browsers are, IMO, your bigger issue with modern computers. They are getting so heavy and most applications are web-based now that it pays to get a computer with more booty.

32G of RAM will last longer because browsers aren't getting lighter. Just my two cents.

Local office app use on desktop or via web browser office365 only?

If its just for office365, 16bg should suffice. Dont pay a large amount to upgrade to 32gb.

16 GB is more than enough. I'm currently running Windows 11 Pro with Access, Excel, OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook, Power Point, Word and Brave with 10 tabs open. System Monitor is showing 7.3 GB memory commited.
