I have a Ducky Shine 7 Blackout (Cherry MX Silent Red). I bought it in 2021 from mechanical keyboards, and I love it.

Suddenly it has developed the terrible habit of losing connection to my computer. Sometimes I can't even get it to register that it's plugged in, and if I have to step away and my computer goes to sleep it will not comeback on. That never happens while I'm in the middle of using it, but I can wake my computer up, use the ****ty one I'm currently stuck with and it still won't comeback to life. Half the time it will be fine the next day for no apparent reason. The other half of the time it's still won't come on.

I can do to the device settings menu and see it trying to connect, but it goes on and off the screen every 1-2 seconds. Has anyone else had this experience? I can decide if it's a firmware issue or if I need to take it apart and install a new USB C port.

Additionally changing ports, cords, devices, etc make no difference.

Have you tried cleaning out the USB connector port on the keyboard itself?

You might have better luck posting on r/DuckyKeyboard/ on reddit if you haven't already.

I've given it the old school video game blow into it really hard attempt, but I haven't disassembled it yet.
