Agree completely with Sneaky Sasquatch, I was amazed how simple a concept turned into such an involved game. For example, when your, then, 7 year old comes to you asking advice on what job she can get to make more money because she had a car she wanted to buy, that's a win I'll take every day. Especially from a game that I thought was just about her learning about patience through taking food out of picnic baskets without people knowing.
Also, if you're kiddos are about drawing/creating things, the Crayola Adventures has been a favorite of my 8 year old daughter for the past 2+ years (they've been really good about constantly adding new aspects).
Those 2 have captured most of her time during iPad time/trips
