I just bought my son a "new to us" PS5 and I think it has an issue. Hard to capture in a photo but the screen often/constantly glitches…is this an issue because we're using a PS4 game or is there an issue with the console?

I tried different ports on the tv and different hdmi cables.

It has also frozen a few times and come back with an error report screen similar to below

I'm assuming you've updated the PS5? If you keep getting errors, then it may be the system. i would Google how often others are experiencing these errors with that particular game on the PS5

Obviously, buying any used system can have issues. If you purchased from someone like Gamestop, you can always return in and get another one.

One thing, when it comes to the actual screen, is make sure you are plugging into the HDMI 2.1 port on your TV, and are using an HDMI 2.1 cable. I used to experience issues with my TV randomly resetting. Come to find out, it was because I was using a shoddy HDMI cable.

Tried switching games and it got worse. But I guess better to show what I mean
