Have ATT Fiber and it has been fine. The router sucks, so I had purchased an extender and it has been working fine for a couple years.
Got an email today that I interpret to mean they are basically bricking the extender by not allowing it to update after they push out new software to the router in Feb. Not inclined to invest in any more of their crappy hardware.
I have the BGW320 Wi-Fi gateway router. I briefly looked into finding out the steps to allow me to have my own better router, but got distracted or hit a speedbump and didn't follow through since the current setup was working okay.
Looks like I may need to follow through now. Anyone have walk through or link to a good easy to follow walk through to complete the step needed in the ATT router? I am passably technical enough to follow instructions in the router settings but know no details on what things actually are.
TIA!!
