I got a small one for Christmas from my family (kind of as a joke) but I've been having blast flying it. Now I kinda want to get a better one. Anybody else fly?

I do. I'm one of the few left that still builds from balsa and uses glow fuel engines. I do have some foamies. I also really like the EDF jets from Horizon. I don't get to fly nearly as much as I used to but I still love it. My suggestion is, depending on where you live, find a local club with a dedicated flying field. Get your AMA card and talk to some of the members.

What exactly did you get? I could recommend something as a step up depending on what it is.

Right there with you...building and glow fuel engines are the whole allure of the hobby for me. Unfortunately, immediate gratification and the FAA are really taking it's toll on the hobby.

I fly FPV drones. Dabble in FPV wings. Can't even fly LOS.

Like the 99% of the population, I love seeing them take off and fly for a bit.

Then see it crash into pieces.

I almost pulled the trigger on a nicer RC plane but went another direction and got a DJI Mini 3 Pro drone. I used to have a DJI Phantom 1 and loved flying it. We go on light son camping trips and I'll have fun getting footage of the family doing activities. It's crazy how much the technology has improved since my original DJI drone.

Never got into the drones. Love glow powered warbirds though. Eventually want the B-25 from Legend

I flew the 450 size helicopters back in the day. No time or patience for that anymore. Have a mavic 3 drone for screwing around.
