How long do you want to ignore this user?
I have a Halloween pumpkin that takes 3 LR44 batteries and it's annoy to have to go out and turn it off and on every night. Is there an easy way to convert it into AC power so I can tie it into the rest of my decorations and display that are on a timer?

OP, if you don't want to cut that adaptor wire open and keep it available for other uses, you can pick these up as well:

Soldering in a DC port is an option as well.

Or you can go super ghetto if you have an old power adaptor and usb cable.

You'll need to cut the usb cable and separate the positive and negative wires and solder them to the power leads. You'll need to look them up to be sure. Plug them into the charger brick and should be good to go. Just make sure the adaptor is rated for 4.5W. I doubt your amperage is above 1A so any basic 5W brick charger should be goodish.

Good ideas.

If you don't want to mess with the wiring you could grab one of these and plug it into a regular phone charger and alligator clip to the terminals in the battery pack.
