Just had our first drone delivery today. Wing DFW is delivering free Lindor chocolates from a Walgreens in DFW.
Here's the "nest" where they launch from.
It took about 10 minutes from the time we ordered in the app for the package to arrive to the driveway. Looks like it takes the drone about 2 minutes to fly to our house from the Walgreens where they launch from. That's a 7 minute drive in the car as a comparison.
We can order other items from Walgreens in the app, and they are the same price as they cost when purchasing in the store. No delivery fee, as I'm sure that Alphabet/Wing is heavily subsidizing the operation to generate usage. Pretty cool technology.
