I still had my original WARCRAFT 2: Tides of Darkness box. That game made me fall in love with PC games. That and Lords of the Realm II.

I'm lvl 48. Its enjoyable as something to pick up for a 30 minute period, maybe hour and put down...come back 8 or 12 hours later maybe or next day.

It pushes you to pay money pretty constantly....just don't. For the PvE content you absolutely would have no reason to. For upper tier pvp....unless you are gonna drop 5k, you will be mediocre so just don't try to be in a competitive clan

I can't connect to battle.net on the work wifi, so I can only play at home.
It's been fun to play for a little bit daily. Not interesting enough to spend money on, that's for sure.

I'm having fun because the mechanics of the game are great but the legendary gem system is ridiculous for p2w and then the biggest crime on top of that is they have hidden caps on f2p grinding and finding loot. I'm gonna try to be more casual and just do daily stuff until I see what the first major update will have. If they don't address any of this predatory **** im gonna be out.

I'm having fun...about to hit 60 and start doing more stuff. We have a warband that needs more members on the End Of Days server.

It's a fun game - easy to pickup and play for 20-30min. It's also after your $$ if want to keep upgrading things. One day 1 I bought two $0.99 cent items (some type of welcome package and the reward pack after the first boss) figured I'd enjoyed things $2 worth.
After the next boss unlocked another 'reward package' but it was $3 or $4 and I decided I was done with those. But I may have bitten it was 99 cents again.

I'll never be more than a casual player and will likely stop after I complete the main story line. Just like I did with all the other Diablos.

The graphics and music are absolutely Diablo - they did not disappoint.

Most surprising thing I've read while following this thread. Are they absolutely Diablo or are they absolutely Diablo 3? It has always looked like it used a ton of Diablo 3 assets to me. I didn't hate the art of Diablo 3, but it definitely trended more toward WoW style artwork than Diablo 1 and 2 art. And for the record I'm not a Diablo 3 hater, I thoroughly enjoyed playing it. It just wasn't a proper Diablo series entry in my opinion, and Immortal looks like more of the same just mobilized.

Rather meant to say that the graphics and music capture the spirit and feeling of the Diablo series.
On a phone the graphics look really good and the music is the usual gloomy atmospheric stuff.

Apple gave me a refund on the unfortunate amount I spent to keep competitive on this game so I'm done with it.
