Do you use discord? There's various servers running bots that alert u when in stock.

Thinking about selling my ps5 and accessories. Thought I'd have more time to play, but it's mostly collecting dust.

I recommend always checking The Verge. They always post when consoles are in stock if you're at the right time and place. Then it takes patience to try push an order through a retailer. Walmart did a cool thing when I ordered one back in February where they pushed availability out in 10 min waves. Was able to snag on the 3rd wave.

Playstation direct and bestbuy are the closest i've gotten.

This compounded by the fact that AMD is splitting their 7nm allotment at TSMC between their Ryzen 5000 desktop CPUs, EPYC server CPUs, Radeon 6000 series GPUs, Xbox series SOCs and PS5 SOCs. So not only is there limited production capacity, but AMD is in line behind Apple and is having to split what they do get to satisfy the contracts for all those various chips.

It's kind of crazy that AMD either owns or commands a significant performance lead in all those spaces (except maybe GPUs, where they are at least really competitive again), but that leads to issues like we see now.

Supply chain was affected by COVID...compound that with demand and there you go...

Anybody looking for a Switch? I have an extra one from Amazon in an unopened box it was shipped in.

I ordered it the end of January when it said it would be in stock March 3-4. With no warning, I got an email February 10th saying it had shipped and it arrived the next day. When they released the new red console on February 12th, I ordered and picked it up from Target the morning of release because my son wanted that one instead of the black one. Then the winter storm hit and we kind of forgot about the Amazon package. When we finally went to return it to Amazon, it was a couple days past the allowed date. Just haven't gotten around to putting it on classifieds yet.

Don't have a Switch and not in the market for one.
