Have a house with no floor outlets, so trying to see what other people have come up with hiding the surge protector and wires to lamps and the like. I have seen those cord concealer tracks, but not too sure how noticeable those are?
I mostly use furniture, or in the case of a lamp in a corner a twist tie goes a long way. For the tv I installed outlets high on the wall and ran other cables from the media closet through the crawlspace and up into the wall behind the tv.
For speakers I ran wire from the media closet through the space above the ceiling while the project to raise it from 8' to the rafters was going on.
Prefer to just run under/behind furniture/walls for 100% concealment but we do have this one lamp wire on a short exposed walkway. I think if it blends with the floor color wise it works well.
