When we moved my 75" Sony 4K tv didn't survive the move. I found a 75" Vizio P series on Newegg for $999 and Best Buy price matched it. I'm pretty sure it was a pricing mistake on their website because it was like $1,800-$2k everywhere else. Got it online early that morning and when I got back from lunch I checked and it was currently unavailable on Newegg and the price was back to the $1,800 price point.

I absolutely love this tv. It's better than the Sony I had and I paid $2,500 for the Sony and it was on sale. I probably won't ever pay that much for a new tv again. Since we've moved we bought that for the living room and TCL Roku TVs for the other bedrooms. The TCL tv's are also very impressive and have a great picture.

I ended up getting the 65 inch TCL. At $399, it was too good to pass up.
i got the other 65" that target was selling for $280, but i cant remember the brand. it as another roku tv. Was not planning on buying a new tv as we had a 1 year old 55" TCL roku tv, but at that price i couldnt say no. id say it will be 75% disney plus streaming and the rest will be football or netflix.

It was the Element.

Best Buy has Samsung 75" for $759 and LG 75" for $729. I got the Samsung only because LG was out of stock at my local BB.

Considering I won't have tvs side by side in comparison, I don't really care one screen is better than the other.

Todays screens are so good, my eyes can't really tell much difference.

Picked up a Vizio 65" P Quantum X for $999 from Sam's yesterday. Great improvement so far over the 55" Toshiba I've had in my living room for almost ten years.

Vizio's have come up in the world. My only concern with them is upscaling. If you watch a lot of cable (720p) they don't have the best reviews for upscaling the content (soft picture). And that would be even more critical on such a large a screen.

But if you mostly stream or watch movies, the new Vizio's are tough to beat with local dimming and deep blacks for an LED at a very reasonable price.

The picture on the TCL is outstanding! It really is a great value for a very good TV.

Honestly I was planning on getting a Samsung Q70, but was blown away by the image quality of the Quantum X on the demo video they had a Sam's. The colors just looked brighter and better on the Quantum, but who knows, the Q70 may just need to be tuned better.

What's the difference between that $2K TV and a $1K tv?
Branding and Fancy Names with the letter Q in them, haha.

Has to do with brightness and color range. The expensive ones are brighter, more colorful with richer blacks, and probably thinner.

Honestly, you don't need a $2K TV. Especially if you're going up from a 720p TV or 1080p TV. Most of the media people watch don't even take advantage of the full range those $2K TVs. NFL football games are broadcasted in 15 year old technology which is 720p.

The best TV, imo, is a TCL Roku TV with 4K HDR. They're cheap, they output great video, they have the best user interface, they have all of the apps, and the best remote with big buttons. Not to mention the CEO of Roku is an Aggie.

Question for y'all with the TCL Roku TVs...is the Roku 4k capable?

I won my NFL survivor pool so I am looking to pick up the 65R615 this week.
Yes. And that 6-series is excellent.

But keep in mind, that's what they want you to see in the stores.

They have them on the brightest setting with looped 4K video that was designed and mixed to be a demo.

If possible, I would try to have them put on other non-4K content to get a comparison on the upscaling quality.

Just something to keep in mind.
