Also, chromosphere (pink layer approx 300 to 1200 miles above surface of Sun) still visible above it. Zoom in for the huge prominence loop at 10 o'clock! I'm told the large spike at 7:30 is the same type but on edge! Obligatory contributor image as well ;-).
