I've got a Texas Aggies Minecraft Realms server going if anyone wants to join. It's in survival mode. Only 10 players at a time. I prefer current or former students. No kids just to keep from overcrowding and griefing.
Post your Xbox GT and I'll add you.

If anyone hasn't joined the Texas Aggies Xbox Club, please do. Realms link is in there.

This isn't that Marooncraft server I've done in the past. Just somewhere to have fun building in survival. Missed the old Points Matter survival server we had going years ago.

Do you have info on the Aggie Xbox club? Never heard of it but am interested in joining if you have any info! Also, haven't played minecraft in a while but wouldn't mind picking it back up for a bit.

I think you can look up the club on your Xbox. It's called Texas Aggies. There's not really any activity going on in the club, but I'm seeing if I can get people engaged in it.

I sent invites.

Yea, Windows 10 version works. Any Minecraft client that has you sign into Microsoft works. So Switch, Xbox, Windows 10, Oculus, iPhone, and Android folks can join.

Realms server been pretty active with close Aggie friends. Still open for some more members. Minecraft is now on GamePass, btw.

Pman, I just updated and launched Minecraft on Windows 10 for the first time in ages, and when I brought up the list of worlds available to play on my PC, Marooncraft was at the top of the list. You had given me a copy around the time that you were going to be discontinuing the hosting. I launched it and flew around a bit to see what state the world was in, and it was a nice little trip down memory lane.

I then googled how to transfer a world from PC to Xbox One, and it is possible if one has a realm set up. I had no idea that MC Windows was compatible with MC Xbox, but I haven't been serious about playing in so long, that's not surprising. Then I came back to TexAgs just now to post about it and discovered this thread in my search.

Just thought you might like to know that Marooncraft is still in existence and is playable, in case you ever want to revive the effort.

My Xbox GT is NIZANOSA and I might enjoy checking out your survival world one of these days in the near future.

I added you to my Realm. Yea, bedrock edition is cross-platform: Mobile, Xbox, PC, Oculus, and Switch. The only downside is there's no world edit mods so if we were to port over Marooncraft, building would take longer. Also, the player limit for Realms is 10 at a time. But I think the best way to revive Marooncraft would be through Realms just because of how easy it is to access, but it would have to be for select members that contribute funds (like a membership fee) and build time because the member limit is 100.

I visited your realm this evening and I'm amazed at how much has been built! Without mods?? Did you start it in June? I saw a June date somewhere when I was trying to join.

Anyway, I climbed up on a mob grinder in the sky that someone built, and I can't figure out how to get down! Lol. So I dropped out of the game, leaving myself stranded there, I guess.

Started in March, it's been slow the last month. We had one person pretty much do everything, such as beating the End Game. He obtained Elytra's, Shulker Boxes, beacons, etc. Another person started using the duplicate glitch to build a massive underground library still in progress. I figured out the duplication glitch and duplicated a bunch of useful items.
I think I know where you are. To get down you'll need an elytra. I'll leave one up there in storage.

There are so many new items/materials in the game now that I have never seen before. No idea what an 'elytra' is, but I will google it.

Haven't heard about the duplication glitch, but I did see the underground library and it is awesome!

I am totally naive about realms. I thought that I would be able to add an existing world on my PC to a realm that I created (having accepted the 30-day realms trial), and I would be able to download and play in that world on my Xbox One. I guess the part that I'm missing is figuring out how to use the Windows version to 'invite' my Xbox self to join the realm.

Is this possible? And if so, how?

Realms PC on Java Edition is different than Realms Windows 10 Edition. If you want to cross play your map with Xbox, you have to subscribe to Realms on Windows 10 Edition not Java Edition. Java Edition stands alone from the bedrock versions, Windows 10, Xbox, Switch, Mobile, etc.

I thought I was on the Windows 10 (bedrock) edition. How can I tell?

Ok, I found the Windows 10 bedrock edition on the Mojang site and I have a code for it.

Now to see if I can import the Marooncraft world after I install.

Cool, yea if you can get Marooncraft on the Windows 10 (bedrock) Edition and then add it to a Realm, you should be able to access it on the Xbox.
