Super bummed! Screen cracked around the perimeter. Not sure how it happened. The Apple people say the only thing they would do is replace the entire phone for $280.

There is no screen repair for the Apple Watch.

Even if the screen was replaced, water resistance probably would be compromised.

Curious, did you have it in an aftermarket case?

I fell your pain just went through it with my series 3

No case. I didn't want it to be bulky! :/

I believe I will wait until Black Friday and get another one. It works right now, but might not be long until it falls off. I think it might have gotten smushed against the wall when I was moving a big tube tv (don't ask). The entire perimter is cracked less about a 1/4 piece in the bottom right.

cracked my watch a while ago. all the costs i got quoted to fix it were just about as much as a new one would be.

i went on ebay and bought a replacement.

Old tv at our church. We took it to one of those Thrift places like a Goodwill and they wouldn't even take it! LOL

Series 4 In two 1/2 months

No idea what a used Series 2 goes for, but I have one and "like it" as much as I would a series 3 given that I don't expect separate GPS and LTE on the watch.

Might be a cheeper solution to a Series 3 replacement if that's the only difference.

(BTW, I say "like it" because the < 2 day battery life is poor, but for me manageable).

I have nothing to add but that sucks! Might as well bite the bullet and get another.

WOW!

Mine is still functioning and for the right person, it would be fine. I believe I will wait until v4 comes out. Maybe it will be even more waterproof to better depths.
