So apple just mailed me an iPhone 6 as part of an appeasement deal. It is brand new (prob refurb), 64GB. What would a fair price be to sell it?

If it is unlocked, you can get more for it. Check Gazelle or if AT&T still has their buyback program (they paid more).

Also check your model.
If you have a phone with the CDMA/GSM (Sprint/Global) chip, then you can make more money.

Crazy but if you buy a phone from AT&T you get a GSM chip only phone which is actually worth less than the phones bought from Apple through Apple's payment plan. They are sold at the same price but there's a difference in the LTE chip which makes one worth more than the other when you decide to sell.

CDMA is mainly an American signal band adopted by Verizon and Sprint. So CDMA only phones cant really roam outside the US.
GSM is a global signal adopted by AT&T and T-Mobile they can roam pretty much anywhere.

Both is better
GSM less but can be sold globally
CDMA very limited to a few markets i believe

Is it the small version or large?

S version or original 6?

Verizon?

If it's Verizon friendly and the small version, I might be interested in it for my wife.

Or not so much.
Legacy CDMA like is95, cdma 2000 maybe but umts and lte are all CDMA variants. The att and tmobile phone uses the Intel chipset which does not support some legacy CDMA variants. The Qualcomm chipset does support the ancient CDMA that Verizon requires that handsets support but they don't have.any network that uses it anymore. The Qualcomm set supports more protocols and also some special features that apple disabled to make sure people consider them equal. Get the qc phone if you can but the Intel one is fine on all modern networks.

Check the buy and sell prices on Gazelle. Price yours somewhere in the middle.

It is the small version of the 6. Believe it is ATT, as that's what the one I sent them was.

Ebay is where you'll get the most for it but it's also the most work.

Figured as much. I've never sold anything on the bay, so I have no reviews. Not sure someone would buy a phone from me when they could buy from someone with a bunch of 5 star reviews
