Without a more specific budget, I would recommend the dell xps 13. Highly.

Solid option. The HP Spectre x360 is an excellent choice as well.

For work I have a Lenovo think pad and for home we use a slightly different model Lenovo thinkpad - fairly reasonable pricing at Best Buy - we switched from Mac and we love it - we have had the same computer for 3 years with no problems "knock on wood". So it's been reliable especially with toddlers.
