How long do you want to ignore this user?
I just bought an Orbi and went through the setup steps. I currently use AT&T Uverse for Internet which comes with a wireless router/modem combo. During setup, the Orbi detected this router and configured itself accordingly. My question is what do I need to do to get the most out of Orbi? Do I disable my AT&T wireless function (and how)? Are there other steps I need to go through to improve the function (IP passthrough?)? I am not as tech savvy as I once was.

Uverse has the worst router management tools on their modems and they don't let you pass that responsibility to your standalone router in an elegant way. You basically are going to stick the Orbi in bridge mode (it might have already done this) and turn off the Uverse modem WiFi to limit interference and then rely on the modem for local IP assignments. That is unless you wanna get much more technical with the settings.

Id go DMZ Plus on the verse modem then all traffic is going to the Orbi...

Disable Wifi on the AT&T Gateway and then do this. It's the best solution you have with U-verse.
