My wife has a cook book binder in our kitchen full of individual pages of recipes and it's a mess. Is there an ap that lets you take pictures or scan this documents and create a searchable electronic document that she could search for on her iPad?
There is a chance you may already have the means. My HP scanner/printer allows me to do this. If you have a scanner and it has OCR software. You are good to go. I have it scan and email me a PDF. The text in the PDF is searchable.
You can join files together and create your own digital cookbook. Some scanners allow for scanning to different file types beyond an image. PDF is probably the most common. You can always transfer it to a word doc, it may format a little weird. Just make sure your scanner has OCR.
What Ive done is just scan them in, and then save each file under a descriptive name.
"And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm Reliance on the Protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our Fortunes, & our sacred Honor."
Take pictures and upload into Google Drive under your AggieNetwork address. Just name each with what you often refer to it as, and you can pull it up easily via search.
