Once I got a WR who was a 92 overall as a freshman. He was 6-4, with 98 speed, and 96 hands. He left after his junior year Now I've got a freshman CB who's 90 overall. He's 99 speed. He doesn't get many int's though, because no one ever throws to his side of the field.

CBs like that get me a ton of sacks when I call a CB blitz. They get into the backfield so quickly that the QB hasn't stopped dropping back yet.

I don't get WRs like that because I run the ball so much. I get a TON of running backs like that though.

I got a QB who I made up who was a 94 when he came in. He is 6'7, 280 and his name is Manalapa Tanalapanalohi, I call him the Throwin' Samoan.

Funny thing, he is now a soph and a 99 and cannot beat out my Sr QB who is an 86. I keep having to bench the Samoan because he throws picks like crazy and he can't run.

I recruited A.C. Klein MLB from CC Tx. He was an 89 as a JUCO sophomore.

I've noticed stuff like that two. I created a BAD A$$ wide receiver, but he is constantly dropping the ball. I ended up taking him out of the slot (where I throw a lot of my passes) and putting him on the far right side of my formation (I only use that receiver on long streaks.)

My friends and I have always discussed the "clutch factor" (since NCAA 99 at least). When you're beating the computer 45-21, and all of the sudden, you can't hit a pass, your RB with a 99 for carry can't hold onto the ball, your line can't block. I think that using created players is an extension of this.

By the way, my Sr. QB who beat out the Throwin' Samoan is also a player I created named Ordell Roby. He does not have the numbers, is not real fast, and only hits about 33% of his passes, but he just wins, baby.

Got a freshman rb named quan francis. 6-2 239 and has a speed on 91 and btk of 88. I ran for 1600yds and 48 tds for utep.

Ok, since we are including names, I'll throw mine in there. I didn't want to have to do this, because it's just too good.

I recruited two running backs one year, both had speed of 95+. One was named Jax Stephens, and the other was Cash Marshall. Based on name alone, I made Cash Marshall the feature back, and he is leading the list of Heisman candidates. It was cool for him to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated with a headline that just said "CASH!".

Yohance Moore. 1st team all-american middle linebacker his freshman year. dont remember his rating.

my linebacking corp for this year is dominate. no created players, but 5 LBs with 99 overall. one is a soph. one has ~92 speed, which is unfair, hes a junior. rest are seniors.

Alouicious Del Fuego was a first team all american at MLB as a true freshman for me.

I also created the best QB in the nation, Marshall's Dracula Montague, and the second best RB in the nation, Miami's Sweetness Portnoy.

Recruited a SS with the last name "Gentry".

He had a low-90s rating and was an overall top 5 in the country.

Won the Thorpe award as a freshman with sacks in the high teens and 2 INTs for TDs.

All I know is that the guys who programmed this must have tried to be funny. I import my 04 draft classes into Madden 04. I have never had a draft with out the imported players. Today I was playing the Giants and they had a FB named Kock and a WR named ***g.

In my 2009 class I got a CB named Braxton. Number 1 recruit in the county. He was a high 80, like an 87 or so.

I run a 4 - 4 and he shuts down his half of the field by himself.

Best I ever got was a 92rated TE, he had crazy speed (87) for a TE..pretty much a Big WR.
