TWC might be leading the pack for me as I look around. It's not hard to find other ways of finding your "tv" shows without cable tv

Yeah, at this point I'm just shopping around for a different internet provider. Have no problem ditching cable and just using Netflix, Amazon Prime, Playstation Vue, etc. Supposedly Google Fiber is being investigated for expansion here in Tampa....fingers crossed they come, and come in a hurry. To hell with Frontier.

We're moving to Carrollton(75007) next weekend and setup up cable/internet through Verizon last month. Apparently he switch happened between then and now and I'm wondering whether it's still the best decision.

Is there anyone on here in that area with frontier? Any issues? If you create a frontier account, is the streaming(watch ESPN, etc.) working?

Spent hours with frontier tech support tonight. Finally ended up with a guy "George" who knew his stuff and was truly trying to help. We reset boxes and even went as far as having me reset the exterior box connections. No luck though. Frontier has effed up my 50/50 connection into a 3.20 Mbps down 17 Mbps up Charlie foxtrot.

Frontier is absolutely trash. Slow, over-priced, unreliable and horrible customer service. The ONLY high point are on-site techs who actually know what they are doing and seem to actually care. Have been forced to use them for years up in New York because they are the only option.

Well tonight my internet hasn't been fixed. I'm on here since it doesn't take much bandwidth and my service is still connected. I'd be more unhappy if they just disconnected me!

Spent 30 minutes waiting to talk to the "changing or upgrading service" department.

Hung up and tried again for tech support.

They have the most hideously annoying, ear harming wait music ever.

What are my speeds tonight? Oh well I don't really know it times out speedtest.

I've had a couple go though and my latest was 2.23 Mbps down 14.39 up. FML

These are bold words but they are worse than Suddenlink.

I never thought I would say that but I just did.

Tech Support in India thought Texas was Tech Support. I ask to speak to somebody in Texas and they say, yes I know youre calling from Allen, Texas. "No, my name is Allen and I'm calling from Texas please transfer me"

They "cant" transfer. My chat support is Saadi. FML even more

Yet another night of 3Mbps +/- 1 down service that regularly times out on entire sites and many images.

Yesterday, I dealt with their Indian customer service who couldn't really speak English.

Today, after waiting 45 minutes I got another Indian that you couldn't understand. She decided to transfer me because for the first time I am becoming an angry customer. I tried the nice guy route. No luck. No luck bad guy. No luck with frontier.

The cherry on top is that we had 2, TWO, frontier trucks at my apartment complex. I left notes on both of their trucks to please either call me or come to my apartment. One has left.

I can't even get connected with a representative to cancel this horrible ****!

anybody who cares: if your account number has first 10 digits that could be a phone number that isn't yours... this might be a giant issue.

the US customer services thought it was my phone number even after I told them my phone number multiple times. I have an 817 number but they thought I had a 281 number. they claimed that the 281 number was entirely random. bs!

I've been on hold/talking to them well in excess of 2 hours just tonight. dealing with frontier is a job.

the only amusing part is hearing the other agents talking in the background with people that are far more pissed off than you are!

Yep, the only time I've been able to speak with someone who can form a coherent sentence in English is when I sent an email to the office of the president (or some BS like that). Some dude called me back saying he was from the office of the president.....when I finally got his title from him, he was basically some random dude from Tech Support.

His answers? They have no idea when they'll have all their services up and running properly in Florida (they hope by the end of May).....and they have no plans to reduce any charges until it gets fixed and they go through each account one by one to decide just how much of a discount each person should get.

As of right now, I can officially say that Frontier is the absolute biggest piece of trash company I've ever dealt with.

Having dealt with Frontier now for 2 weeks, I can honestly say they are one POS company.

We have had Verizon DSL forever. It was never great but it suited us and I hate Suddenlink in a bad way and they are our only other option. Once Frontier took over, we began to lose bandwidth in a bad way. Download speeds of 2 MBPS on a good day. Uploads in the 500KBPS range. It was like 1993 and a 28.8K modem bad. So I sucked it up and swapped for Suddenlink.

We called Frontier the day Suddenlink came out and told them we were cancelling effective immediately. They said it would be 5 days. We said BS, its an electronic switch. They can cut it off now, tomorrow or in 5 days it wouldn't matter but effective that moment we weren't paying a dime more as we are terminating service. We settled the bill on the spot and said "Bye Felicia".

Now we get a bill in the mail for the extra days it took them to get around making the electronic change. We log into the account and it shows they still have our bank info (it was auto pay). And there is no way to remove the bank info. So we spent 3 hours on the phone and simultaneously online chatting with 5 different people from customer service tech support and eventually back to customer service (the first guy literally hung up on us) trying to get them to remove our bank info from their system. The scary part was they could actually see our bank routing number and account number but were unable to remove it. We finally blocked the autopay at our bank.

That company can gobble my crank.

This has been a nightmare. After 3 days of no service and 2 more of haggling with billing to get them to honor Verizon's pricing it's finally been escalated to a supervisor. We will see how this goes. I'd be done by now if my only other option wasn't TWC.

Hey guys I was without service for 3 days but finally got it fixed when I told them to escalate to a network technician and to remove all my equipment from the PON card and then add it back. They did that and I was back up in minutes.

Frontier is the worst. I've had dsl (when it was first emerging), sbcglobal, charter, Verizon fios, suddenlink, uvesrse! Maybe more?! Every single company will annoy to an extent but frontier is sooooooo much more

Frontier is the horribly worst. Hours on hold just to trach a foreign helper, who can't understand or fix your problem. Youll be promised techs scheduled to visit you and before they comr.

Big problem, I haven't had a tech or even a single call.

Nothing reliably works with frontier, everything is slow and even speaking to a person takes hours.


Stay away, leave ASAP.

Wonder how long it will take them to fix it, if it is still broken.

Had had Fios for years without a single complaint back when they sold it. Within a few months I had had so much trouble I cancelled and moved to cable. I was amazed it was even possible to mess it up that badly that quickly. Not an option where I am now, but interesting information.
