Chrome bug when clicking "back"

I'm using Version 43.0.2357.132.

I'll do a google search and click the relevant link. When I click "back" (or use the back button on my mouse), nothing happens. I click back again and it goes back to google with a blank page. I click forward and it returns to my google search.

Chrome has been doing that to me for years. Not sure what it is, but it's rather annoying.

I can't even use chrome at home. It freezes my computer for 20-40 seconds often and I've spent days to weeks trying to figure it out.

Yea chrome just does that sometimes. It's annoying but nothing you can do about it.

Chrome is quickly losing its appeal to me on my work windows laptop. When I open gmail the machine absolutely crawls. Combined with loss of Silverlight support later this year I'll be switching soon.
