Forgive me if this has been discussed.

I have a wall mounted big screen with no convenient place for the console. Is there a way to make a wireless connection (to avoid the wire spider that runs across the wall)? If so, what are the pros and cons?

I'd be curious to know this as well. Sounds neat to be able to send a wireless HDMI signal from one generic device to another.

I'll be getting this for the TV in our bedroom once I mount the TV. Going run the power and HDMI cables through the wall.

As far as I know running them through the wall would be best bet. You can get an outlet with an HDMI, coax, etc up by the tv and then connect everything that way.
