I had listened to half of the first episode a few months back (or whenever it started) but forgot about it. Just recently burned through the 11 episodes available. Pretty interesting, actually. Goes into the back story of the Spartan project and sets up why ONI is trying to chase down 117 as HALO 5 kicks off. I've always liked the HALO universe and loved the campaign portions of the game (more than mp even). The main voice actor in the podcasts is Keegan Michael-Key (of Key & Peele) who plays a reporter uncovering the mystery behind John 117.

Anyway, fun stuff and worth a listen if you have the time on your commute or something.

Just found out about this the other day through an article about Halo5. I'm pretty impressed so far. I have not read any of the Halo books that are out there so most of this I'm learning for the first time (additional story info that isn't covered in the games).

I started watching the Halo miniseries that came with Halo MCC (Nightfall) a while back. Need to finish that up since it's about Locke, the spartan who is hunting down John.

I've read the original trilogy of books too, and it's awesome to see all the info blend together. Halo really is an amazing universe.

They keep releasing short little behind the scenes, making of videos on XBL. Pumped for this game even though I still have like three games left to play through on the MCC now that they gifted ODST to me last week.

Season Two starts TODAY.

Wow I listened to the whole thing and it blew me away. The quality was fantastic all the way down to the sound effects. I am definitely looking forward to season 2. This just makes me angry that we haven't been able to get a solid Halo movie off the ground. It has everything you need to make a phenomenal trilogy.

Started listening yesterday. Love that they have kept it together with the books. Will finish this week.
