Just curious how difficult it is. I know zero about Lync Server. We recently deployed it internally and use it within our company. I love it, it's great. But I want to get into the server side.

I had lunch with our VP today and he was just talking about future stuff, and mentioned how we're going to start offering Lync hosting to our clients. At this time we don't have anyone in the company who is Lync certified. So in hopes of getting more money, I figured I'd take it upon myself to start reading up on Lync. There's 5 exams I would have to take... 3 to upgrade my MCITP to a MCSE in Server 2012, then two Lync exams.

I think if I got the Lync cert though, they would definitely consider another nice pay bump.

It's not too bad. It is more user front end questions and questions about logging and tracking.
