So, I ended up using a combination of a couple of different remedies, all found on the internet. Well, let me back up.
I gave Panasonic's support number a call, and after navigating to the sales department (those automated, robo-answering call routers that ask you to say a number for your issue don't have "If you need help because your toddler went all Jackson Pollock on your tv, press 8" so I just pressed numbers until someone answered) I finally got a guy on the line that seemed like he could help. After putting me on hold a couple of times, he came back and said, "Please consult your owner's manual for directions on cleaning your Panasonic tv." I think my response was, "Thanks, I would have never thought of that...good day to you, sir". Idiot.
So I googled it. It turns out that a lot of parents have dealt with this, and it could be a lot worse. At least it wasn't a Sharpie, or a fountain pen (people still use those?). Anyway, I decided to try a method that seemed like it would work. You take a microfiber cloth and place it between two damp paper towels on a microwave safe plate. You nuke everything for about 50 seconds. The paper towels steam the microfiber cloth, but they don't saturate it. Take use the MF cloth to take of the majority of the Crayon from the screen using North and South, and East to West motions. After the larger chunks of Crayon came off, I then used some Monster (I know, I know....Monster Cables are overpriced, but this wasn't) Screen Cleaner and another MF cloth. I started with the bottom of the screen, but it looked pretty good so I went ahead and did all of it. Anyway, I can't see any of the Crayon marks on the screen, and I am happy with the results.
I had a long talk with my son about using Crayons, and touching the tv. I'm afraid that it was the first of many talks that I will have to have with him about doing some stupid sheet. Kid takes after me. Now I know how my Dad felt.
