RangerRick said it best... the M16 is MESSED UP in this version. That was my go to gun for MW and MW2 and it's completely useless. I had my struggles with the game early on, but once I started unlocking stuff it got way better. My feelings about the game:
1. It is very limiting at first and you have to grind through the first part before you can really start enjoying some good weapons/perks.
2. Once we all learn the maps better, things will settle down instead of it just being a bunts of ants with guns running around. It's way too early to tell how the game will play until we all have our favorite weapons and spots on the maps to fight from.
3. Buying perks n stuff is kinda nice... lets you pick and choose how you progress, but there is plenty of "grinding" required to get everything you want.
4. Not a big fan of game type specific requirements for perk pro. I will have to plant 10 bombs in order to get Ninja Pro... I don't play much of demolition at all, but I guess I'll have to now.
5. Interesting how claymores are now "equipment" that is completely seperate from nades n stuff. The guy above commented that scavanger will not allow you to pick up more. I was a big time claymore user, so this is an adjustment.
6. You can no longer equip noob tubes or any other undercarriage weapon in combination with upgraded sights. You want noob tube, you get iron sights! Another adjustment for me, but I'm OK with it cause I know a lot of people hated the tubes and the world certainly doesn't revolve around me.
Overall, there is a lot that has changed for a game that is, on the whole, the same. I'm not liking them all, but I'm excited that I will be forced to adopt completely different play styles instead of relying on the same tactics I've been using since the first MW. I pretty much have to forget about MW2 and find new ways to dominate. Can't wait to play some more!
