Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Phone will only work in 3G area. Will not work anywhere I have no 3g.

This is what I've done so far (in this order):

- Cold restarted phone.
- Reset network settings.
- Performed a full system restore.
- Took to Apple store - diagnostic on their computer said everything was fine.
- Took to At&T and changed out sim card.
- Updated to the 3.0 software.

Any ideas?

Is there no Edge service? Try going to setting>general>network and turning 3g off.

Maybe you are getting a 3g signal but it is too weak to be any good.

Oh, did that as well. Didn't work.

iPhone sounds busted. That or you just have no service.
