Is there a way to skip forward days in the Dish Network channel guide without having to just hold down the right arrow button and pass every hour of every day between now and the target day/time? It's annoying having to scroll through a week hour-by-hour if it's Sunday afternoon and I remember that I want to setup a DVR timer for Saturday show.

When I had Comcast, I know I could select and change the day I wanted to look at, but I can't figure out if it's possible in the Dish guide. TIA.

Yep, use the 30-sec skip ahead in the DVR section of the remote. Each press goes 24 hours in advance.

You can also skip ahead any number of hours by entering the number of hours on the keypad then pressing the right arrow.

the 30 sec skip/day skip button = ftw
