Long running, very competitive 12 team league. Randomized order, snake draft.

No PPR. 6 point passing TDs. Everything else is standard ESPN.

We've added an optional keeper where you give up a last years draft position n-1 i.e. I took Lamar in R3 so costs me my Round 2 pick this year.

I'm leaning toward forgoing all together but entertaining the two option below. Draft round is what pick I give up this year. Thoughts?

Chris Olave R6
Tyler Warren R8

Tyler Warren looks pretty good in the 8th round

in a 12-team league...8th round is picks #85 thru #96

could enter your draft knowing TE is already taken care of

Id go Olave.

Im scared for Warren. I think you have to take a second TE if you draft him or else risk a very slow start.

With Olave you get a round 3 guy. With keepers that is more like a round 2 potentially. The value between a 6th vs 3rd >>> 8th vs 5th.

Also you can do an easy pair with Shough at the end of the draft and maybe have a surprise great qb wr stack.

This is my logic and indecision on both lol

Slight lean on Olave due to upside

How would keeping Tyler Warren change your draft strategy?

If you drafted pick 12: RB, RB rounds 1 and 2. Then get Tet or Tee Higgins plus Burrow in 3 and 4.
Round 6 you get another starter WR. Round 7 get Fanin. Round 8 get Bill Croskey.

2 RB 1s,
1 WR 1 (Olave),
top 3 QB,
2 more WRs you start easily,
Fanin vs Warren is a small drop off.

one question...does the league start 2 WR or 3 WR each week?

one note...non-PPR league with 6-point passing TD's means WR's slide down the draft especially in the middle rounds as managers grab RB's and QB's earlier

Olave, no question for me. If Daniel Jones isn't 100% Warren becomes a huge question mark. Jones says he's healthy but I am extremely skeptical, he just tore his achilles in December. Not willing to risk that for Warren when I can keep Olave in the 6th instead.

Olave can do it all. Deep threat, possesion, YAC. And Jordyn Tyson just hurt his hamstring pretty bad, I expect him to miss the first quarter of the season. Olave's PPR points per game after Tyler Shough took over were slightly ahead of ARSB's season average. Keep with confidence.

QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (RB/WR/TE)

Think I'd go Olave as well. That's a top 10 (or better) high volume WR you're getting at a 4 round discount. I envy you. I have no viable keepers this year

To help make it easier Tyler Warren has a groin injury now.
Also I know Daniel Jones looked good before his injury but look at how Kirk Cousins looked before and after his Achilles injury. And Cousins didnt really use his legs as a threat.

I'd go Olave. Only starting 2 wr's makes the TE production a little more valuable so the argument for Warren is a little stronger but not strong enough. I wouldn't be shocked if you could get a TE at Warren's level in R8. You won't get an Olave in 6. Take Olave.
