The Pro Bowl has only ever been good for 2 things.
#1 Peyton going scorched earth on Mike Vanderjagt on national TV
#2, the best story I ever heard, told by former Oiler great Robert Brazille about the 1977 game.
Brazille got a start at LB. The Steelers' "Steel Curtain" defense had 7 starters in the Pro Bowl - LC Greenwood, Mean Joe Greene, Jack Lambert, Jack Ham, Mel Blount, Mike Wagner, and Glen Edwards
Game starts with the AFC on defense. Fran Tarkenton brings the NFC offense to the line. Greenwood starts calling out signals from the Steelers' defense.
Brazille, obviously confused, yells at Greenwood, "Hey! I don't know your signals! What do you want me to do?
LC Greenwood replies, "Just stay out of our way."
