Took CMC #1, but grabbed Mason late. Even had Guerendo on the bench for a couple of weeks but dropped him when CMC came back. Probably no way I get him back.

bye week 14: Broncos, Ravens, Commanders, Colts, Texans, Patriots

QB streaming for week 14 with six nfl teams on bye looks like it won't be too competitive for me- 10 of the other 11 teams in my league have a QB rostered already that they can start this week.. so it's just me and one other guy who will battle for one of these guys to stream this week:

Russ vs CLE
Jameis @PIT
Caleb @SF

after that, it's guys like Rogers, Carr, Levis, Bryce Young, Aiden O'Connell...

I have my waiver claim already in for Isaac G. Not sure if I'll get him; I'm like #3 or #4 in waiver priority. ...do I use a second claim for one of those above QBs? Which one? or do I just wait until early tomorrow am and if the other guy got Russ, I take Jameis as a free agent, if he took Jameis, I take Russ as a free agent?

I wouldn't chase Russ. Cincy is really just that bad at defense.
I like Levis because of the match up.

That's tough. Ray Davis is down to only 17% owned in yahoo leagues. Even though James Cook has solidified his lead role, Ray still got 11 carries and 1 rec with a TD last week in the snow and he still looks like really legit with the ball

I'd go famous J at QB. He has nothing to lose and is more a threat imo to put up bigger #'s

Ray Davis could be worth an add, Kimani Vidal since Gus Edwards sucks...Trey Benson, Zach Charbonnet, Braelon Allen, and Jaylen Wright are all decent dart-throw handcuff options in the event of injury.

I have the exact same dilemma. Same QB on waivers.

I'm in real trouble. I'm fighting for the last playoff spot. It's between me and the guy I'm facing. Winner is in, loser is out.
He somehow only has one guy from his staring lineup on bye. I have 6, including my bench. Clearly an over site on my part when I was pulling from waivers in previous weeks. Injuries have crushed me.


I may go for the Hail Mary with j. Winston. There is a guy in front of we on waivers who needs a QB. I'm guessing he goes with r. Wilson

I think I would go with Russ or Caleb over Jameis...Jameis is volatile and Pittsburgh has a stout defense, but I guess so does Denver and Jameis balled out last night. I guess it depends on if you need a ceiling or floor play.

Russ got 13 points in the match up with Cleveland 2 weeks ago.
Winston got 14 points in the match up with Pits 2 weeks ago.

Russ has the lower floor (7 point game against the ravens). Winston hasn't had a game below 13.

How sweet is fantasy football. Two weeks ago my uncle outscored me when I had 5 starters on bye week. This week he has 5 starters out and is in a must win to make the playoffs and I'm playing the CMC owner and 11th place guy in our league to win the top overall seed.

Jets just waived him. 49ers just signed him on waivers since CMC and Mason are going to IR.

Westbrook-Ikhine feels like a trap waiver at WR. 3 good showings in a row.

Levis seems to like him and Ridley probably gets opponents' best cover guy and most attention.

I didn't spend any FAAB on him but since no one else did I snagged him as a FA for free.

He's in my lineup starting in my FLEX spot with a very favorable matchup.

for those who have been streaming defenses all season.. who you got for playoffs?

I've got the #1 total (pre bye week) and #2 avg Denver D. ..but I need to drop someone to stream a QB this week and I feel like I should drop Denver since they're on bye and then their 3-week playoff matchups are not good: INDY in week15 (in which I may or may not have a bye), @LAC and @CIN for ff semi-final and championship. ...on the other hand, if i drop them, I'm looking at some bad defenses with good matchups. Picked up TB and CHI for now, but don't love their defenses or their matchups all that much in playoffs.

Tampa Bay (v LV) for week 14 to try to secure a wk15 bye
Chicago (@MIN) for week 15?
Tampa Bay (@DAL) for week 16?
Chicago (v SEA) or Tampa Bay (v CAR) for week 17?

New Orleans is available- they have @NYG in wk14 and v LV in wk17. wks 15 and 16 very bad matchups.
Cincy is available - they have @DAL, @TEN, CLE for 14, 15, 16. Bad matchup in wk 17.
Green Bay is actually available - bad matchup tomorrow with DET, but playoffs 15-16-17 are @SEA, v NO, @MIN
Atlanta is another one - has @LV and v NYG in wks 15 & 16

Take a look at Indy. I picked them up to stash for playoffs.

I think they're ranked 19 or something but they have pretty favorable matchups with DEN, TEN, NYG for playoffs.

That NYG matchup in championship week is pretty damn good.

Jameis @PIT - don't like that match up at all, but Jameis did it @DEN on Mnf this week with a bad matchup on paper. and Burrow threw 3tds vs Pit's #1 pass D last week.

Caleb @SF - he's thrown multi TDs last few weeks and san fan gave up a bunch of points to Josh Allen in the snow last week, but will Bosa, Greenlaw, etc. be back at home this week?

Levis v JAX - jacksonville gives up the most pts to QBs on the season, but they've held down Stroud, Darnold, Love in 3 of past 4 weeks. like that levis is at home.

Cooper Rush v CIN - rush at home vs good matchup. cin gave up a lot of points and multi TD passes to Herbert, Lamar, and Russ the last three weeks. and, if they can finally really connect - i could stack with Lamb. -assuming lamb plays with his banged up shoulder.

Derek Carr and Aaron Rogers are also options.

yahoo suggests Jamies then Caleb. Fantasy pros suggest Caleb then Levis.

I'd avoid Levis i think the scenario where tenn wins without Levis throwing the ball more than 20 times is likely and preferred.

I don't trust Caleb. He did nothing till the Lions were up 20 points.

I like Rush. Cincy will score and they might just have the worst defense in the NFL. Moonball wilson carved them up.

I think Jax got some players back on defense recently...and they have been better

I like Nick Folk this week if someone's kicker is on the bye

with Keenan Allen and D.J. Moore...I would probably go Caleb over Rush and Jameis

I'm the #2 seed and first round bye heading into last week... but Lamar Jackson, Flowers, and McLaurin are riding the bye week express. There went 51+ points from my weekly average!

Purdy is my guy for now, but should Levis be picked up? He's averaged 19 points last 4 games, so I may grab him instead of Purdy considering the Bears defense.

Anyone looking for RB help during this heavy BYE week it may be worth picking up Sincere McCormick as a FA.

He's backing up Abdullah with both White and Mattison out but he's looked really good and gaining traction. Pierce said yesterday he's looking to ramp up his carries from the 12 he had last week.

Throw in that LV is going up against TB who's run defense is suspect and he could be in for a nice week and worth an add.

With BYE weeks hitting me hard I picked him up and inserted him into my lineup at RB2 instead of Trey Benson.
