Well week 18 might be Byes or 2nd half byes for Goff, Gibbs, Montgomery, St. Brown, Jameson, Laporta, Mahomes, Pacheco, Kelce, etc.

Goes into strategy to make sure you're prepared for week 14. 2 week total playoff helps negate it as well.

No need to have playoffs in Wk 18 either.

And 2 week playoff totals are complete BS.

Let's do 1 week matchups all season but let's change the rules and make it 2 weeks in the playoffs.

Why are yall so against 2 week playoffs. It is the best way to truly have the best team win.

The best team doesn't always win. By that logic why even have playoffs? Just crown the team with the highest points at the end of the season the winner.

I don't like it because it so completely different than the regular season.

Throughout the entire season everything is based on and playoffs are seeded using 1 week matchups then all of a sudden it's different and beating a team in one week isn't good enough.

I will take your advice under consideration for next year. Especially because it seems like every year my team is ass the first half of the season and then GOAT the last half when I'm eliminated already. So changing to 6 teams in playoffs would help me

Think of it this way...Fantasy football is just a form of gambling.

What if a sports book paid out bets per week but all of a sudden decided to say 'Well from now on your picks have to hit 2 weeks in a row to show that it wasn't fluke. Then we'll pay out your bet.'

Our playoff doesn't start till Week 15, and I have LAC as a second DEF (yes, I have 2 defenses).
Unfortunately, LAC plays KC on Week 14, so that won't work.

Our playoffs start week 14, but I have adjusted my roster to accommodate for that. Looking forward to playing the people that have J Mixon, Lamar Jackson, etc.. during that first round of the playoffs!

Eh, KC isn't a world beater on offense this year. I don't think it's automatic to sit a good defense against them.

Mahomes is tied for 1st in interceptions thrown with Geno at 11.

Does PIT garner more consideration as near matchup proof now?

playoffs @Phi @Bal KC is brutal, so had stashed TB for @LAC @DAL CAR, but Bucs tend to get into more shootouts

I don't think any defense is match-up proof.

Offenses I won't start a defense against:
Lions, Ravens, Eagles, Bills, and Cincinnati

Offense i will try to avoid:
Commanders, chargers, Tampa Bay, NFC west, and Texans with Nico.

Well time to stack up on players playing the cowboys the rest of the way out.

They're worse than I thought and they're gonna get even worse.

My fantasy team won 166.34 to 148.30 with 35.30 points from Joe Mixon, 31.10 points from Breece Hall, 29.04 points from Joe Burrow, and 25.10 points from Jauan Jennings. As result, my team has won 2 in a row to improve to 7-4 and remain in 3rd place out of 10 teams.

I've run my league for 32 yrs without ever having a playoff. 17 weeks, best head to head with total points as a tiebreaker. To me that's the best determinant of who has the best overall team through the year as opposed to who just catches fire the last three weeks

True story…….i was in a 10 team playoff league a few years ago, top 6 make playoffs. I snuck in as the 6 seed two years in a row. Second year with a 6-7 record. Got hot in the playoffs and won the league both times. Pissed the commish and a few of the guys off so bad they disbanded the league after the second one. Yes I was the beneficiary of it but that just further sealed my "no playoffs" attitude. I had no business winning either of those. I'm a believer in skill over luck
