It's been a while since the Cowboys were truly not that competitive. They seem to be pretty bad this year.

So Cowboys fans, what would you do over the next 3 years to fix the team? Then, what do you think will happen? Will there be a major rebuilding?

First, they're going to hire another offensive yes man masquerading as a head coach. Then, they're going to make 2-3 low end to middle FA acquisitions (one of them replacing retiring Zack Martin). They're going to trade none of the big contract players that have some value because Jerry cherishes "his boys".

They're going to have an ok draft because will McClay is who he is. Then we're going to roll into next season in the same shape as this season because we did absolutely nothing to address qb or any of the other large glaring problems on this team

This is the way. I said it jokingly in the season thread, but now that Dak is confirmed to be out for a while, I'd seriously start Lance just to make sure we secure that #1 pick.

Announce the plan today and then try to trade any veterans who want out.

To draft who though? The QBs in this class aren't that great. Nobody is trading the motherload for Cam Ward or Shadeur sanders.

In the meantime become a Detroit Lions fan. Root for Dan Campbell and Aaron Glenn. They are fun to watch and play old school football. They not only beat your ass to a pulp, but the team receiving the butt beating will have a hangover for at least a couple of weeks!

If I'm Ben Johnson (or any up and coming coach, really), there's no way I would go to Dallas. You're set up for failure with Jerry and Stephen calling the shots. Dallas will keep hiring retreads or people from within that are already used to being under Jerry's thumb

Today they arent great. After the underwear Olympics, pro days, the marketing firms start spinning, and the teams get so desperate by April they will be foaming at the mouth to draft these QBs. We see it every year. Guys that have no business going in the first round much less being a franchise QB go top 10. Sanders and Ward seem like legit 1st rounders. The hype machine for Beck, Ewers, and Milroe will be insane.

Exactly! People need to understand that Stephen "Spaulding" Jones is the same as Jerry and worse since all he's done is ride daddy's coattails. He has the same issues with being a womanizer.
