Their young, project QB has given them diddly squat for a year and a half now. They're trying to catch the Texans and they know Flacco is their only shot. Yeah tonight was a stinker (good, as a Texans fan) but they're doing the right thing. Stroud can tell you, it's hard to perform in that house.

I thought Richardson showed some promise last year...they drafted the guy knowing that he would be a project and that he had limited game experience...the only way for him to really progress is by getting more game experience.

It just seems odd to me to trot Flacco out there...he is their only shot at what? A possible wild card beat down loss? Because there are very very few teams that could actually have a shot at winning a Super Bowl with a guy like Flacco at this stage in his career.

Richardson is a mess

There are not only questions about his ability to execute on the field, but he's constantly banged up (to no one's surprise) and there are now leadership issues after he voluntarily took himself out of the game last week.

He may not be better but I think the move to Flacco had to happen to keep that locker room intact.
