whether he pushed off or not, the catch was unbelievable- one handed while the db was holding his other hand and somehow getting his shin down in bounds

I only got 7. Do y'all play in a league that penalizes FG misses? I hate that rule. Send him out there for a 57 yarder that a 1-in-3 shot at best and then penalize him for missing it. Oh well

I think yahoo's default is to only penalize -1 for missed kicks if they were less than 30 yds - so PATs and short misses only.

EDIT- i guess it's not default. my 10 team league does not penalize missed kicks at all. my 12 team league has a -1 for missed PAT and -1 for missed kicks 0-19 yds.

We edited our settings so anything is penalized -1 unless it is 50 yards or longer...with how automatic kickers seem to be this year, we have considered bringing back the penalty for missed kicks of 50 yards or longer. It drives me crazy when my opponent's kicker goes off for like 25.4 points.

I have wondered how it would go if we just make all FGs worth 3 pts, regardless of distance.. all these 4 and 5 point FGs which are fairly common and almost automatic indoors seem to be overvaluing a position that is entirely unpredictable and volatile and just pure luck it seems. I know I lost week 1 purely because Jake Moody scored like 28 pts vs me. Maddening. I don't have a problem with the -1 for missed PATs and short ones.

Starting to rethink this. Dude has had one or zero TDs in 6 out of 9 games played now. That's headed toward Jacoby Brissett territory

yeah; can't say this was predictable after Stroud's amazing rookie year last year. OL and WR injuries are a problem for the Texans and Stroud is struggling. ...still just a sample size of ONE for Jameis though.

I'd drop stroud.

Probably aim for: tua, nix, Rodgers, flacco, then Jameis.

he has a terrible week 16 matchup at Kansas City, but a great week 17 matchup at home vs. Baltimore

Honestly I'd rather have Flacco if I was ONE HUNDRED PERCENT sure they'd leave him in the rest of the season. But the Dolts are married to Richardson's rookie contract. You know they're gonna throw him back out there at least one more time and just pray it works this time………

Actually as I look at my free agent list, the only reasonable options left are Jameis and Derek Carr. Scary, both of them. Really doesn't matter I guess bc whoever it is will just wind up being Baker insurance/bye week fill in

On it's face this seems like I should pull the trigger but Dallas schedule is super easy down stretch while Detroit schedule is very tough

2. Lions can win without Goff. He is getting what 20 attempts a game. Meanwhile Dak will be the cowboys offense.

This is a 12 team super flex very sharp league. There is never a starting QB on the wavier ever. I have Geno and Carr already

That's right super flex. In that case I'd rather have the better qb and don't like qb/rb same team stacks.

Agreed but who do you consider the better QB Dak or Goff?

I currently have Dak and dowdell stack anyways so moving to Monty and Goff would be similar im just throwing in Tillman

ROS is only thing giving me pause as Dallas is came down stretch
