It was a typical Dak game. God awful first half. Loses the game. And then he puts up stats and kinda gets us back in it in the second half when the opponent is relaxing a little on defense and just it wanting to give up a home run.

Is it never his fault when he doesn't score a touchdown in first half? This isn't a one time thing in big games.

I would typically agree with your takes if we look at this game in a vacuum. But we have multiple examples.

When you pay him that much, he's expected to win a few games when the defense is awful. Definitely isn't expected to put up goose eggs in the first half.

Constantly blaming Dak does nothing but let the rest of this sorry ass organization off the hook. Dak didn't play his best game, but him and Turpin were the only two who looked interested in playing today. What about our $136 million WR who fumbled at the goal line and had key drops, then just sat around and pouted afterwards? Or our LB who wants to be the highest paid LB in the league who was a complete waste of space today?

43 rushing yards going into the 4th quarter. Defense gave up almost 300 rushing yards. Lamb fumbled inside the 10. Offensive scheme was abysmal, along with in game decisions.

We must've watched different games cuz the defense for Baltimore definitely wasn't relaxing. They were blitzing constantly in the 2nd half. Zero prevent. Also, Dak (himself) did enough in the first half. He didn't play great but it was good enough. The CD fumble likely took 7 off the board. 13 points in the first half is plenty good if your defense could stop a cold.

I'm just annoyed this is constantly a conversation when your defense gives up 270 yds rushing and Dak gave them a chance to redeem themselves and they failed.

Ok? I agree all of that could have been better. Not saying the team played great other than Dak. But when you have a top 5 qb (which Dak isn't but we are laying him like one), your qb is supposed to make up for some of that. You don't get to blame everyone else every single game.

I don't disagree. But when you pay dak 60 million a year you don't get to constantly say this in my opinion. He should win you some games even when other aspects aren't firing on all cylinders.

This is why I think Dak could have done himself a big favor by taking a "discount" and taking $50 million per year. At least then there can be the argument that he's giving the team a little bit of cash to spend, and maybe everyone wouldn't be so hard on him.

But I'll move on.
