A lot of the talk around Skylar Thompson last week was specifically for 2 QB/Superflex leagues. In those leagues, you would try to get 3 starting QBs on your roster. Of course in 12-team versions of those leagues, not every team can roster 3 starting QBs, so it's a scramble for backup QBs when the starter goes down.

Let's be clear, no one should be starting Skylar Thompson in 1 QB leagues this week. On a related note, in 4pt passing TD leagues, Malik Willis is currently QB1 this week and Andy Dalton is currently QB4 with a half still to play.

Even in a SF league, I would rather just roll the dice with a WR and hope for a TD than trot out Thompson.

Willis has looked entirely different than when he was in Tennessee and Dalton has been serviceable for most of his career. Obviously, both have been worth the FAAB/adds.

I think that's fair. I only play in 1 QB leagues, so I can only imagine how difficult those decisions are when you lose a starting QB to injury and the only QB on the waiver wire is the direct backup.

I have Dak and CeeDee on separate leagues…may turn out to be huge busts.

Also, this says a lot about how NFL teams decide to invest in backup QBs. The Miami skill position players are far more talented than the Carolina skill position players, yet Dalton has the Carolina offense humming while the Dolphins are stuck in reverse with Thompson, who is now out injured.

Really hating that #2 overall pick ceedee lamb so far. In a 12 team league, not picking again until #23, missed the entire run of 10 top RBs gone already, so lamb really needed to be as good as he was down the stretch last year. And he's not.
