Keep seeing Evan Engram, Jake Ferguson and Pitts falling to around the same place. Who do you take?
None, at their draft positions.
I like Pitts finally being in a decent fantasy offense. That being said, I am watching that group along with Njoku and I am going to take the last one of those guys available and use picks on RB and WR.
Try and make something idiot proof, and all they do is make a better idiot.

Pitts will separate from those other 2 by league end. Book it.

By how much, though, really? I think that they all finish near each other (Barring injuries).

From those 2? A good amt. I believe pitts will show what everyone expected when he was drafted with a competent QB at the helm. Cousins may not be Brady but he sure as hell isn't Desmond Ridder.

lol I get it. But I still feel better about him than Engram and Ferguson.

Engram has burned me too many times now…either in draft or streaming him. He's dead to me.

I think Ferguson has a safe floor, but I can see taking Pitts over him due to higher upside. As for Engram, he did have 114 receptions last season, good for 4th in the league (not 4th amongst TEs, 4th overall). That has to count for something in PPR formats.

I've got the 5th pick in my draft. Just ran a mock and ended up with the opportunity of landing Bijan and Devon in Rds 1 & 2. Smart picks?

I was able to get Waddle and D Smith 3 & 4 with Stroud in the 5th. Looks good on paper but I am worried about two things 1) ATL's offense and 2) Devon's health. Thoughts?

I am optimistic about ATL, they have made massive improvements on the defensive side of the ball which should help the offense. Then obviously, they added a QB for the first time since having all of those offensive skill players.

I don't draft with fear of injury in mind anymore...there's just no point. It is football, anyone can get hurt. Last year I passed on CMC because of his injury history and took Jjettas 1.01 because WRs get hurt less often and he is a stud. Sure enough, JJ stuffers his first major injury and misses half the season on top of losing his QB.

Good point. You never know.

Let me ask this: Bijan or Breece Hall? JJ or Chase?

I think with both of those you're splitting hairs. It's closer than 51/49, IMO. But my opinion:

Breece and Chase (and ive owned JJ as a keeper since his rookie yr). With Breece, hes shown he can produce via fantasy with garbage qb play and now he has Rodgers who has historically fed RB's out of the backfield. I could make a case for Bijan but id feel better about Breece.

For chase, he'll share more targets than Jefferson but i feel much better about the Bengal offense as a whole this year vs vikings. Give me the better O.

But there is no wrong answer here.

I'm staying far away from the Bengals offense

Having tough time with my 2nd round pick. I pick 9th in 10 team PPR. 1st rd typical JJ or aj brown…. 2nd im targeting a rb: Gibbs, Barkley, Taylor, Pacheco kyren, etienne, and achane…. Typically Taylor goes at the turn and Barkley is ruled out bc of brown pick….. who should I go with out of the rest?!?

If you can get Taylor, I think that is the obvious pick, then since it is PPR I think Gibbs is the clear second. I'm staying away from Barkley at the top of the second because you have the ultimate vulture in Hurts. At that point, I think you could make an argument for any of Pacheco, Kyren, Etinenne and Achane. I'd probably go with Etinenne, he the safest of that group. Unless I've had a couple of pops... then my maroon heart takes over.

I think grabbing Achane that early is insane tbh. He's on a loaded offense with a lot of talent/people that need the ball. He'll have 30 points weeks but plenty of sub 10 pt games too. Not to mention the injuries as well

starting with the Eagles...

Hurts ran for 15 TD's last year. Eagles RB's combined for 7 rushing TD's.

as mentioned above...Hurts is going to cap Saquon. Barkley seems like a 2nd round pick.

then at WR...DeVonta & A.J. Brown each caught 7 TD passes. Hurts threw 24 total last year.

DeVonta appears to be the better value in the 4th round. Good WR to target for owners who start their draft with the traditional RB-RB

then the Ravens...

the Yahoo experts have Derrick Henry rated as their RB5 in 1/2 PPR -- kind of a surprise

can Henry and Lamar both have big seasons on the ground?

Lamar had 5 rush TD's last year

Everything points to Mostert and Achane flipping roles and Mostert was a top 5 RB (with only 3 single digit games) last year with all that same talent. Achane's effiiciency numbers are higher than Mostert. To me, the only risk for Achane is that he is a smaller guy. Can he take the beating a RB gets over 17 games? If he stays healthy... he is going to have a monster year.

Achane's ADP in PPR is mid 20's to low 30's. Dolphins also took another RB in the 4th round this past draft. Taking him at 12 is a big risk IMO. But hey I see the upside so you do you

back in 2022...

Hurts rushed for 13 TD's

and Eagles RB's combined for 18 rushing TD's...including 11 for Sanders

but last season...it was all Hurts on the ground in the redzone / goal line
W

along those same lines...

the Texans only had 10 rushing TD's in 2023 -- and Stroud had 3 of them

maybe that's why Mixon is only rated RB13 -- when he should dominate the backfield of a strong scoring team

Texans will be pass happy

a case can be made for either of achane or mostert to have a big season or disappoint. and you can probably add jaylen wright to that as well. i would feel most comfortable owning 2 dolphins RBs to cover for potential injury, having just one has the potential to be very volatile.

This is exactly my strategy. I pick 4th and Ideally I get Bijan and then an Ettienne type and Devonta is there for me in the fourth.

I'm a little hesitant on Devonta because I think Goedart eats into his production.

Right, I'm just saying for Lamar and Henry to both do well this season isn't impossible. Hurts and Sanders killed it together just 2 years ago.

I think they will coexist fine. It's not like Lamar's rushing TDs are short distance dives like Hurts. The "tush push" is a RB TD killer. I'd be more concerned that Henry has hit RB purgatory in age and touches. That drop in production is coming... it might not be this year, but he'd be beating the odds if it isn't.

Picking #6 in a 12 team. Looking at most likely Amon Ra or Chase in the 1st and then picking up RB coming back. Typically I'm getting Pacheco, Walker or sometimes Jacobs in that range. Who y'all like better? I'm kinda leaning Pacheco as he will have the least competition for carries but would like you guys' opinion
Ag_07
How long do you want to ignore this user?

I really like both of those RBs (Pacheco and Walker)

I think Walker is going to feast in that new offense (I'm high on all SEA offensive players) and there's quite a bit of chatter around Pacheco having a really good offseason and looking great in camp.

In PPR I'd probably lean Pacheco but I don't think you can go wrong with either one of those two. If you go Walker probably smart to handcuff with Charb later on in the draft.

As a fellow Dotson owner, how should I feel about the trade to the Eagles? Worth dropping for Mike Williams, Mooney or Wicks?

Need some keeper input, but don't want to add to the other 20 keeper threads on the front page.

Keep Dalton Kincaid in the 8th
or
Keep Rashee Rice in the 12th

I know Rice is probably a little bit better value in that spot, but i kinda just want Kincaid on my team more.
