If there was ever going to be 2 teams on bye during a playoff week I think Cardinals & Commandos are a good combo. Trey McBride, James Conner, Sam Howell & Kyler Murray probably the only potential starters missing.

QB drama session continues:
Trevor Lawrence: If he misses Cleveland & Baltimore look like smash starts for DEF. Not sure what you can do with Kirk leaving injured. I don't know if anyone outside of Etienne is startable.
Jake Browning: He looked good. As a Chase owner, his targeting of his stud was A+. Higgins is still unplayable
NYJ/NE: Both fanbases learned a very valuable lesson, yes in fact their starting QB was actually way better than the backup.
Joe Flacco: Why did the NYJ not sign Flacco once Rodgers went down? He isn't going to win you a super bowl but he is going to lead a competent offense.
Mahomes: The KC offense just seems broken. Even with GB scoring, KC never clicked.

Had Tank Dell and Jonathan Taylor go down within 5 days of each other. Went from a deep bench to those two out and Thielen sucking the last month. I'm limping to the playoffs.

My wavier wire requests are Zeke and Noah Brown.

Jonathan Taylor owners, y'all dropping him? Even if and when he comes back, guessing a split with him and Moss for at least the first game.

10 team league I agree.
12 or 14 only if the top 4 make the playoffs which is a bit harsh. Otherwise I like the bye week for seeds 1&2 and then double week championship of 16 & 17.

Double week championships are biggest crock of shlt.

Let's go all season handing out wins for 1 week matchups but for the championship let's make it 2 weeks.

Imagine the Super Bowl being 5 quarters.

It is fantasy football. Why count a passing TD as 4pts? why score 1 point for 10 yards rush/receiving but 1 point for 25 yards passing?

You do have a point but it's more the inconsistency for me.

I don't like changing the formula for a win for just the championship.

You go all season and build your team to win one week at a time then all of a sudden it's different for the most important matchup of the season. No thanks

WE switched passing TDs to 6 points a while ago. The passing yards one is more so to keep QBs from being super powered though. If you had both in place, the elite QBs might be piling up 45+ FFL points per game while skill players are having a great week if they get to 20.

6 point vs 4 point passing touchdowns doesn't really affect the end result all that much. Sure the QBs are scoring more, but the difference between QB1 and QB12 still didn't really change all that much.

6 point passing TDs just devalues QBs who get a lot of rushing TDs, like Jalen Hurts. It's still not that much though.

At least the Jags showed they can move the ball with Lawrence out. This Jets offense is in absolute shambles. That offense has accounted for one or fewer touchdowns in 10 of 12 games.

Hackett is a hack and the only reason he has a job is because he's best pals with Rodgers.

Edit...After reading closely I see the other option is CLE which is a top 3 fantasy DEF so I'd say play them. But my point still stands on NY's offense and Hackett.

Clinched my playoff spot last week and have a matchup with the first place team in the league for a 2 tie at the top. WR1 and WR2 are written in stone for me with JJ and ARSB but I need some help on my flex options got DK Puka and Zay Flowers PPR scoring

don't expect DK to repeat last week's explosion - that ruined my playoff hopes in one league... but it's not chasing DK's points to start him at flex. I think I'd lean DK. Puka is playing banged up and Flowers' floor can be so low in that inconsistent BAL passing offense.

That's my thoughts as well I think Flowers has a higher floor with Mandrews out and the targets being more concentrated. But DK probably is the better option from a volume and game script perspective with SF expected to put some points up and Seattle having to play from behind.

What's the best way to approach a RB playing against your defense?

I've got Brees Hall sitting on my bench this week but with the weather forecast in NY he may get a hefty workload and be a better FLEX play than Addison with JJ coming back.

Kicker is I have HOU defense playing NYJ. I do have IND defense going against CIN as a stash.

Guess my options are roll with Addison and HOU, insert Hall and roll with HOU, insert Hall and insert IND.

you can still start HOU and Breece. It's possible for both to perform in fantasy. Even if Breece scores two TDs for you, dropping the possible points for your defense, HOU can still sack and INT the crap out of the jets' crappy Qbs

I think the rule is more starting a QB against a DEF limits your ceiling. Boyle/Wilson could easily throw 1-2 pick 6s. Also Will Anderson is getting after it and I expect sacks.

If this is PPR I might still lean Addison. Not sure Breece has good TD capital.
