Curious how many trades actually happen in yalls leagues? Mine had 9 this year, but only because I was a part of 8 of them.

The younger the owner base, the more trades there are.

44 trades so far

12 team league that we've been doing for 15 years now, all players are active and aggressive. $2 per player for each trade. $1 per player for add and drop, transaction fees get pretty high. We had to put in rule this year that if you trade a player away he couldn't be back on your roster for 4 weeks. $500 buy in, pays pretty well for the top 4 and very well for the winner. Hold our draft at Cesar's in Vegas every year.

The most I've had in one year in my primary league over the last 10 years is 2.

I agree with the younger the owners the more trades you'll get. Older more established owners never seem to want to trade value for value, they only look to make a trade that skews heavily in their own favor.

We have had 36 if you include pick swaps before or during the draft.

I think we've had 3 in the 10 years our league has been around.

i'd say older owners are more confident in the guys they drafted, and if they think you want one of the, they're going to make you pay for them!

ESPN allows commish to edit transactions fees in the "Transaction Counter" page which no one pays attention to, I slipped in a $1000 Cost Per Acquisition early in the season, buddy has no idea he owes $40K

Usually about 2 or 3 trades a year at most.

This right here I'm in first place 2 games ahead of 2nd. If you want one of my players, you're going to have to overpay. I'm not interested in giving myself competition

I had a guy message me to see if I would waive a tight end that I wasn't playing. Then if I would trade him or crap. Then he was miffed when I said I definitely wasn't dropping him if someone else wanted him.

Some people, not saying it's an age thing, seem to not understand the idea of me stashing guys on my bench so nobody else can use them ever. Now that I have Burrow and Mahomes in a dynasty league, I'm never trading either of them. Those 2 dudes will never be used to beat me for the rest of their careers.
