Trying to improve my roster...I have Dallas Goedert and Kyle PItts at TE. Should I drop Pitts and waiver wire pickup D. Kincaid? I seen Knox is out for surgery, so Kincaid will be primary TE target for the Bills. I have little trust with any Atlanta receiver. I'm thinking upside of Kincaid for this year is higher...am I correct in thinking this?

Other options at TE include Michael Mayer and Jonnu Smith

Kincaid is probably the most valuable waiver add available in most leagues. Even if Goedert continues to produce, having both gives you some pretty damn good trade bait.

weird deal with no teams on bye in week 8. other than injuries, ff should have near full strength rosters in all matchups.

i'm targeting Downs in one league. Minshew like him and they are moving the ball, even against CLE defense last week.

will be looking for a TE for week 9 bye in one league, QB for week 10
will be looking for a QB for week 9 bye in one league, TE for week 10

Kincaid is available in one and i'm making him my top waiver claim, but i have low priority, not getting my hopes up.

Houston defense is only ranked #27 of 32 teams for ROS on fantasy pros, but they're widely available coming off bye, have CAR this week, and actually a pretty favorable schedule for ROS. They've scored at least 10 points in three of their last four and that's without any defensive or ST touchdowns.

I was able to snag Kincaid and Downs on a quiet waiver week.

Haven't picked a free agent defense to stream yet.

ATL @TEN or TEN vs ATL both might be decent as that matchup could be a low-scoring affair.
I mentioned HOU @CAR earlier- still only 7% owned, but they've been holding offenses to low scores
LAC vs CHI - is Bagent (sp?) starting for the bears again?
NYG vs NYJ - giants D has held BUF to 9 points and WAS to 7 points the last two weeks.
JAX @PIT ? jax d has put up some FF points in recent weeks vs ok offenses. gave up points at NO last week, but scored a TD

Pittman only had two rec last week even with Gardner at the helm. Just so happens one was a 75 yd TD with a couple minutes left in the game- that killed me. that being said, I don't trust him and would probably put Aiyuk in over him. You definitely have to start Addison.

And for defense I'd go HOU. They're coming off a BYE and going against CAR. I'd trust them more than any of those other options.

Coming off 2 losses, really struggling with what to do this week. I got Hill and Kirk locked into 2 WR slots, but then I have RB, WR/RB, and WR/TE slots I need to fill between these guys: Jacobs, Swift, Stevenson, Higgins, and Waller. Will probably go Swift at RB since he's been the most consistent (but lacking TDs). I'm leaning Higgins and Stevenson (Jacobs is killing me as a 2nd rounder).

those three sound reasonable. i don't have jacobs in any leagues, can't tell you when it's time to bench him.

looking ahead to next week when i'll have to stream a QB for bye week, the options right now look horrendous...

Howell, Carr, Daniel Jones, Mayfield, Dobbs, Ridder, Minshew, Zach Wilson..

so far the Chargers have given up the most FF points to QBs this year... week 9 they play @Jets.. could Zach Wilson have a career day vs LAC? oof... not going to feel good about that.

Not sure I'd trust Wilson enough yet. I'd probably consider Howell, Carr, Mayfield, and Minshew....but it's really a coin flip between those. Good luck.

have any JJ owners entertained trade offers? He could be back in two weeks. on the other hand, JJ drafters like me were likely not looking at great RB picks at #20 and/or 21 and with bad luck at 40/41 like me, have been struggling there.

someone offered me David Montgomery for JJ; thinking of countering: Montgomery + Mark Andrews for JJ + Kincaid.

My WRs are: JJ, Olave, Garrett Wilson, Jakobi, Downs, Rice
My RBs are: Swift, Kyren, Javonte, Mattison, Chuba
My TEs are: LaPorta, Kincaid (just grabbed off waiver)

with both JJ and Kyren on IR (and also having lost and dropped Khalil and Ant Richardson to IR already), team is really struggling.


edit; or what about JJ for JT straight up? i think i'd go from RB-weak to remaining WR-weak though... maybe just wait for both JJ and Kyren to return from IR and i'll be ok down the stretch.

I'm going with Mostert and B Hall and benching Jacobs. This will probably be he goes off. Have good WR's to play in flex with Diggs, K Allen, Addison, M Evans.

I wouldn't want Montgomery. Could easily miss week 8 then bye week 9. Plus you run the risk of Gibbs establishing a bigger role and the options of Brown & LaPorta eating into offensive gameplan.

Swift is effectively the RB4 (Kyren injured, and Moss neutralized with JT back). Add in Mostert had a blow up week and he is closer to RB3. Swift has been a league winner for where he was drafted.

Maybe you could do a Mattison + Meyers/Wilson for a Stevenson/Mixon?

Yeah, that is what I have been leaning...but it does feel hard to bench Foreman after what he did last week, he has been pretty efficient his entire career, I think he would have been great if he never tore his Achilles.

If Roschon clears concussion protocol, I don't see them making him the lead back this week, especially with Foreman doing just fine. I'd pass if you have other decent options.

I wouldn't want to start either because it isn't knowable. Foreman was a healthy scratch for multiple weeks. Carolina didn't bother resigning him after last season. I think the Bears likely want to see if Roschon is a viable RB option going forward.

Foreman played 46% of snaps. So maybe he just isn't a good pass blocker nor route runner.

Foreman benefited from when he was on the field last week, but they really traded off series/snaps a lot back and forth.

Who should I start: Roschon or Miles Sanders? 1 PPR

Miles because with Fields out, I don't' trust the Chicago offense
