bigger bye week than last week: CIN, DAL, NYJ, TEN, HOU, CAR

several injuries last week: Kyren, Montgomery, CMC, Fields, Trevor Lawrence, etc.

time to fire up some of those bench players. one popular waiver add this week could be zach evans as Kyren's backup in an offense that handed the ball off to kyren 20 times last week.

League 1 (PPR):
RB2: Javonte Williams vs GB or Alexander Mattison vs SF
Flex: KJ Osborn vs SF, Rashee Rice vs LAC, or the other of Javonte/Mattison
QB: probably dropping Chuba on bye to stream a QB as Lawrence's replacement who was Richardson's replacement --- Geno vs AZ, Stafford vs PIT, or Howell @NYG


League 2 (PPR):
RB2: James Cook @NE or Alexander Mattison vs SF
Flex: other of Cook/Mattison, KJ Osborn vs SF, or Smith-Njigba vs AZ
(also, this team has both Miles Sanders and Chuba Hubard on bye - i almost feel like dropping both, but might drop one to stream a defense- which one to keep- the one they paid 25 million for or the one who actually looked better last week while the other was out?)

doesn't seem like you can afford to drop the potential of Chuba in either, would be dropping any of those receivers named as I wouldn't be picking up any of them on any of my rosters

it just seems like he's been middling around longer but Chuba is only 2nd year and remember he put up near Derrick Henry like numbers in both hs and college

-reason I was thinking dropping Chuba is because bye week this week and Miles is back to share duties next week and ROS. It could turn out that Khalil is useless when he returns... or maybe I should just drop Lawrence for Howell straight up for ROS? - but I really need a QB this week on this squad.

-could probably just keep them all, but with BAL defense facing DET, was considering a drop for Chuba or Smith-Njigba to stream a D/ST even though i'm thin at WR and I think DK and Lockett are always injury risks so SNJ could be huge later.

Should I burn my #1 waiver priority to pick up J Mason? Seems like CMC has a good chance of playing this week and not missing multiple weeks for sure. Not a CMC owner so not a handcuff situation.

I think Evans if Rivers is also out for LAR. With the 9ers backs, I don't know which one takes over or a split.

Thoughts on Howell? He's been putting up some numbers and I'm thinking dumping Lawrence for him.

i might do the same. Don't seem right to drop Lawrence, but playing Lawrence on a gimpy knee on Thursday is probably not the move and holding Lawrence while dropping a bench WR or RB doesn't seem right either

I think the Rams backfield is headed for a Cardinals situation. McVay has said that Zach Evans struggles in pass prob pretty bad and I think stuff like that matters with him I think it's gonna be a time share with Evans and Royce Freeman until Kyren comes back.

Just got a trade offer I give Jaylon Waddle and Jahmir Gibbs for Davante Adams and Drake London. At WR I have ARSB Nico Collins Romeo Doubs DJ Moore Josh Palmer Rashee Rice and Justin Jefferson on IR. At RB I'll be left with Aaron Jones Alvin Kamara and D'Andre Swift. I think I should accept but have been waffling because I'm really high on Waddle ros and like having a slice of this Miami offense.

Sitting at 5-1 but with CMC status up in the air, Achane on IR, and Breece Hall on BYE my RBs are killing me this week.

Thoughts on this trade to a desperate JJ owner?

I've got a WR group of Waddle, Aiyuk, Pittman, Addison, Jameson Williams and I could stash JJ for a playoff boost assuming he comes back. If not I still get Kamara and can manage the loss of Addison with Williams.

Beware that Jimmy G has injury concerns with his back and Adams production may drop if he has Brian Hoyer throwing to him for any length of time.

As a Waddle owner I'm also bullish on him.

Yea I've been going back and forth for that reason. I think I'm going to hold on to Waddle for now but the interesting piece for me was London I think Atlanta's passing o has improved quite a bit and outside of week one London has been a pretty consistent WR2

That being said, keep an eye on the news. If we hear that Eli Mitchell is going to be the starter in SF with CMC out, then take Najee over Mason.

Speaking of kicker, multiple kickers who have had solid starts to the season are on bye this week. If you have a roster spot open up due to injury, you may be able to add Aubrey, Fairbairn, etc. to your bench this week and then install them as your kicker next week.

I did this last week with my DST. I had been streaming DST but last week Cleveland became available because they were coming off bye and facing SF. I was able to put Roschan Johnson on IR and add Cleveland DST, who I can now start the rest of the season. With Roschan still in my IR slot, I was able to add Fairbairn to the bench and can make him the starter next week.

Note that this is an ESPN league. In Yahoo, the player would need to be designated as "out" before you can run this hack.

I'm gonna wait until Sunday to drop Aubrey for another kicker so nobody else gets him. Then wake up really early Tuesday after waivers go through and get him back

I don't know what to do with Trevor Lawrence... i suppose he's going to try to play with a sprained knee and a brace on Thursday night. Do play him? Drop him altogether for Howell? Or drop someone else for Howell (or Geno or Stafford)?- Khalil or Chuba or Osborn or Rice? this squad has 4 injuries and 2 byes and that's after dropping Anthony Richardson.

Just realized only 8 of my 17 players I actually drafted. However, I haven't made any trades. So I have dropped 8 of my original 16 guys. Rough draft for me this year.
