Is flag football played widely enough throughout the world for it to deserve to be included as an Olympic sport?

I dont think it has to have a huge following if you are the host nation. I am not sure how competitive it has to be either.

Surfing and skateboarding are going to be at the Paris one.

I had no idea though that boxing was getting dropped.

I think that boxing still is, but the governing body that used to oversea boxing has been expelled or suspended.

Not sure on that, but I thought boxing was still part of the Olympic games. At this point, it would have been easier for me to just google, but I'm this far invested into this post, so I'm posting.
