League 1: need CeeDee Lamb to score < 2 points. I'm toast in that one.
League 2: weird scenario- opponent was over-rostered all week. In order to get Ekeler out of his IR spot, he needed to either get a 2 for 1 trade accepted and processed last week (which he was working on), or drop Courtland Sutton- his worst player- before the Thursday night game. Otherwise, he was going to have to drop someone good Sunday morning or before the Sunday afternoon games so he could play Ekeler against me. No trades got done. He didn't drop Sutton before Thursday. I noticed on Sunday that he moved one RB to bench before Sunday's games, but didn't drop anyone- still over-rostered. So he has an empty spot at RB and Ekeler still in the IR spot, but everyone else on his roster has already played. He shouldn't be able to move Ekeler to RB before tonight without dropping someone, and he shouldn't be able to drop anyone because they all played in week 6 already, right? RIGHT?? Or is there a loophole or something I'm not thinking about that will enable him to play Ekeler tonight? I'm up by 23.44 (PPR). If he can somehow play Ekeler tonight, I think I can lose easily. My fear is a trade will process today where he loses two players and gains one, and then he can start Ekeler tonight. My hope is the guy screwed up awaiting trade proposals last week, was unable or forgot to drop Sutton on Thursday, and then disrespected my team so much and coveted his remaining bench players so much that he just said F it and thought he could beat me only starting one RB. He was already up on me 17-0 from Butker on Thursday.
EDIT: confirmed - there was no trade that was going to process today; turns out you can drop players that already played if they were on your bench. I didn't know that. how did i not know that? oof. he's just going to drop sutton now and start eklelr. I need him to get less than 23.44.
