Is that for the LBQ, stuff or is it for the cancer month?

Or it's the hat for the NFL Crucial Catch campaign that raises awareness for all types of cancers (represented by various colors) and encourages cancer screenings. https://t.co/7qyBHKCyak

I'm all for curing cancer, but I don't think all these colors and ribbons actually increase cancer awareness. We are all perfectly aware. Somebody is making a looooot of money off all this.

Pink - breast cancer, blue - prostate cancer, yellow - bladder cancer, grey - brain cancer, etc.jograki said:
I think it's great they shifted away from just pink and expanded to more colors for cancer screening awareness. Women are more likely to be on top of breast cancer screenings, but many men are behind in preventative care. As someone who previously had a lesser known cancer found at a routine checkup, I was glad to see the change these last couple years.
Our healthcare system is about treatment, not prevention, so yeah, there are fortunes being made off of cancer.Yellerjacket said:

Yep. I work at a preventative medicine clinic. We do everything out of pocket because otherwise its too much red tape to get tests done. Cannot tell you how many early cancers we've caught by doing screenings starting at 40.carl spacklers hat said:Our healthcare system is about treatment, not prevention, so yeah, there are fortunes being made off of cancer.Yellerjacket said:
