I'm bored, so going ahead and starting this a bit early. This is probably one of the more boring waiver weeks so far this season.

Jaleel McLaughlin could be an interesting add if Javonte Williams misses time.

Jameson Williams is a nice stash if he is on waivers in your league.

Jake Ferguson is worth a shot at TE if he is out there.

That's about all I got!

Kupp coming back has given me a good dilemma....i need 2 rb's, 2 wr's and a flex out of the following:

RBs...Bijan, Pollard, Etienne, Kyren Williams
WRs... Kupp, Puka, Deebo

Which two should be left out?

Justin Tucker...alas we knew him well

K26 for the season

the Ravens have only attempted 1 FG inside 40 yards

and he's started missing the long ones

I benched Etienne this past week

Jags offense is a mess right now

Kyren is a must-start

heavy on the Rams in week 5

was cut in my league wk 2 and I made the mistake of dropping Bass(Buf) for him, now looking to get Bass back but if not Sanders(Mia) would be decent consolation, opportunity seems more valuable than accuracy

Fantasy Points in the three weeks I started Evan McPherson: 4, 6, 3
Fantasy Points the week I did not start Evan McPherson: 19

I give up on all things Cincy.

I'm dropping McP and hoping for the Rams kicker Maher. I guess Fairbairn is the next one I will try to get if I don't get Maher.

I have to stream a defense this week too with Cleveland on bye. I might just drop Freiermuth so i can keep Cleveland for ROS and still have them for their great FF playoff schedule, but not looking likely i'll make playoffs at this point.

WAS (v CHI) and DET (v CAR) look like the best avail for week 5. Every defense that has faced CHI and CAR has scored in double digits ff points weeks 1-4.

the Bengals have scored just 49 points in 4 games

a dreadful 12 ppg average

Weird week for me. Herbert, Keenan, and Jerome Ford on bye. Javonte Williams could miss with an injury. JT could be activated off the PUP, but that isn't clear yet.

At RB, I am really counting on Taylor or Williams playing...otherwise, I have to turn to the wire for Kenneth Gainwell or someone like that.

Assuming one of those guys is good to go: pick two of Christian Watson, Jordan Addison, and Drake London. FWIW, I also have Jjettas, so I am hesitant to start Addison with him.

Thanks to this series of threads and all the Waddle trade stories, my 2 week old feeler text to the waddle owner turned into a successful JT for waddle trade straight up.

I won't even be mad (unless it's the rams because I have Kyren)

which order to target these?

DET (v CAR's anemic offense)
WAS (v CHI's TO-prone offense)
BAL (@ PIT's anemic offense)

Our waiver wire is straight ass. Best rb available are chuba Hubbard, Antonio Gibson, and devin singletary. Best wr available are say Jones, Calvin Austin, and rashee rice. It's almost to the point where I should pickup Jake Ferguson if I need a spot flex start.

Ravens or lions for sure over commanders. However, not sure which way to go between the 2. My wife is in same situation with browns.

Is it time to trade Jamar Chase?

1-3 record
QB- Hurts
RB- Swift, Kyren Williams
WR- Chase, Tyreek (who I traded for after week 2)
TE- Hunter Henry
Flex (1)- alternate between Amari Cooper and James Connor
D- Bills

Bench
Tyjae Spears, Jaylen warren, Drake London, Bengals D (picked up and played last week vs TENN over Bills vs Miami) and Mac Jones (picked up to stash for week 10 vs IND when Hurts on a bye)

I have scored the 3rd most points in the league but have the most points in the league scored against me.

Wait it out???

No hold Chase unless you get a return close to pre-draft value which you shouldn't get. I still think the Bengals can turn it around and if they do Chase is a league winner. I wouldn't be too worried about your record you're still putting up points you've just had bad luck with matchups.

Just got offered DJ Moore and Jahmyr Gibbs for Jonathan Taylor. PPR league. Thoughts?

I just had Higgins go down so I'm a little thin at WR. I also have Bijan, Pollard, and Kamara.

S a DJ Moore owner myself your league mate is doing what I'm trying to do sell high. The bears passing offense has been putrid and while Moore is the one player with consistent volume he's super volatile. You're pretty good at RB I do think Gibbs has a lot of end of season value but I think I would pass on this.

I was leaning towards passing as well. Don't like being the team that gets 2 back for 1. Usually end up on the wrong side of that.

I would prefer to swap Taylor or one of your other backs for a higher-end WR1 rather than a middling WR2 and RB2-3.

you likely drafted JT late and hold him just for that shot he returns to action as a stud league-winner. That situation hasn't changed. While the potential upside is still there, there is still risk hanging out there with JT, which you already knew and took on when you drafted him.

How much can you get from desperate people looking for a RB that will be praying he plays and blows up? This guy probably drafted Gibbs in round 2 and is freaking out at Montgomery's usage last week. He's desperate.

For you, with Bijan, Pollard, Kamara, AND JT, you should be in position to get a much better WR upgrade than DJ Moore and you may not need Gibbs.

DJ Moore is certainly not going to be that guy for you that significantly upgrades your WRs and wins your league, and while Gibbs could be great down the stretch- there's certainly upside there- it's just a different gamble than JT and you don't need Gibbs that badly with who you got.

Some WR things to call out.

Pittman struggled with Richardson's return. Just not enough targets his way. Might be a buy low opportunity. (I'm not sure RIchardson will stay healthy, and i say that as a richardson owner).
I'm not sure Waddle will be a top 15 WR. Without TDs I'm not sure he will get the volume to get there.

With Freiermuth out the next few weeks, who on waivers should be his replacement?
- Ferguson
- Conklin
- Smith, Jr
- Musgrave

This morning, for the 26th consecutive season of FFL, I reacted with insane range that I hadn't gotten alert that one of my players was hurt, only to then notice that the bye weeks had started.
txagman1998

Ferguson is the best option of that group. Musgrave is not bad either, but is in the concussion protocol, so may or may not play this week and is a Week 6 bye. Both Ferguson and Conklin are Week 7 byes.

1-3 in my PPR league and down bad at TE. Drafted Kincaid as my starter and it hasn't paid off (really wish I had waited a few rounds for LaPorta who I also liked).

Anyway, do I keep the faith with Kincaid or find another starter? The waiver wire is thin, but I have my options ranked as follows:

Ferguson
Higbee
Jonnu Smith
Logan Thomas

Also, if I do add a TE, do I drop Kincaid, or one of my depth RBs? I have both Roschan Johnson and Tyjae Spears as stashes and am okay moving on from Roschan. Ferguson has a Week 7 bye, so if I get him I would need another TE in a couple of weeks.

FYI, as you are making your waiver priorities, note the upcoming Bye weeks:

This week: Browns, Bucs, Chargers, Seahawks
Week 6: Packers, Steelers
Week 7: Bengals, Cowboys, Jets, Panthers, Texans, Titans

i think ferguson is better for ROS than Freiermuth; not just next few weeks while Freiermuth is out

Ferguson is TE#8 on the season so far in PPR scoring and #7 in targets

Ertz is TE#2 on the season so far in targets and TE#10 for scoring

Jonnu Smith is TE#11 scoring and # 12 in targets. Smith gets as many if not more targets than Pitts and London in ATL

The rest around them are owned. These three TEs are still only owned in 54%, 27%, and 1% of yahoo leagues respectively.

Do teams announce a player will be out a few weeks, but give them a "doubtful" designation until day before the game, just so fantasy football managers can't put them in a IR spot before waiver claims are processed?

txagman1998
How long do you want to ignore this user?

Definitely think Ferguson is the top available option, especially playing in the Cowboys offense, though at SF this week is a tough matchup.

Crazy how Jonnu Smith is outperforming London and Pitts. Nobody saw that coming.

Ertz has been a nice safety valve for Dobbs and is a solid PPR option. Unfortunately, he's unavailable in my league (he was actually drafted in my league if you can believe that).
oh no
How long do you want to ignore this user?

i don't know if Jonnu is outperforming Pitts and London. London has a couple of TDs on the year at least and maybe a few more targets/game should be expected most weeks, but in three games, in an offense where Ridder is only going to throw the ball about 30 times per game and much fewer if ATL is ever playing with a lead, Jonnu has gotten 6, 8, 6 targets.

Pitts: 5, 9, 4 in those same weeks
London: 8, 6, 7 in those same weeks
