In my Auction Keeper league, I've lost Mike Williams for the season and need another WR. This other guy has put Amari Cooper, Dalvin Cook, Goedert, Aaron Jones, and Dak on the trading block. I like Cooper but I'm trying to compile a trade package that could possibly also net me Aaron Jones since Najee Harris is sucking it up this season.

Our league is 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1FLEX, 1Super FLEX, 1K, DEF so we're essentially a 2QB league

I'm looking at a package surrounding Pitts and Edwards for Jones and Cooper but I'm thinking I'm gonna have to give up more to entice him. Would y'all add Harris to the mix?

guessing your rate of trade proposal acceptance is not very high.. let's put it this way Pitts and Edwards are highly droppable from competitive rosters, suppose they'd have some value in a point per snap league

Pitts + Gus Bus shouldn't get you one of Aaron Jones or Amari Cooper much less both.

1st, can you pick up Josh Downs on the Wavier Wire. Colts WR. He is better than Mike Williams (drop), Gallup, Van Jefferson.

I think your best bet is to maybe do LaPorta for Cooper. Pitts still has some upside. Engram has been involved just not in the endzone.

Coincidentally, the same guy has Downs. I could keep Edwards and add Harris to the trade, maybe even add my 1st round pick next year?

I would take everyone on the other guys team over yours. Yes I would do J. Downs for any of your guys straight up 1v1. I don't know what the value of a 2024 1st round is in an auction league.

Imagine you are the other guy. How does D. Montgomery, G. Edwards, Pitts, or Toney actually improve his fantasy point output week after week?

Here is an example of trade that is more understandable. Joe Mixon + Marquise Brown for Waddle + Tank Dell (done after week 2). He added much needed RB depth. I upgraded in the WR position and traded a mid range WR2 for a potential top WR2 breakout rookie. Both teams gained from the trade.

I mean, you can just start an unlimited number of players at each position in this league right?

There is a limit to how many of each position you can have but neither of us are near that.

I see.. then just try to pick up some premium free agents like Braxton Berrios, Ben Skowronek, and David Blough to add into the deal which should push it over the top

Allen Gamble's trade seems more fair than mine.

WR1 + RB2 for RB1 + TE1 (or at least a guy trending in that direction). Gamble, you may need to add another player to sweeten the deal
