I need WR help bad. Puka is my #1 and I dont trust him. I'm thinking about offering Bijan and Mclaurin for Justin Jefferson and Akers. What yall think? Is that fair?

I would still have Pollard and Kyren WIlliams as my 2 RB's.
I think JJ is untouchable.

Maybe aim for 2 borderline WR1s, very good WR2s. Go for 2 of Pittman, Ridley, Evans, Waddle, Cooper, Olave, A.J. Brown, CD Lamb. (Obviously you would only get one of Lamb/Brown).

Yeah I was gonna suggest Waddle for the same reason that JJ may be a untouchable.

May also look at buying low on Chase.

Guys on waivers. Are any of these worth picking up and dropping Gainwell?
R. Johnson
Spears
J. Hill
J. Kelley

Just flipped Tank Dell for Christian Watson. Thoughts?

This board must be way higher on the packers passing game than me. Yalls love for love and now this. I'm not buying it

Edit: to actually answer your question, my wife had Watson last year and it seemed like he was very TD dependent, however the TDs kept coming so that's good I guess. Tank seems like a better value ROS in ppr for sure, standard it's a toss up
That's fair. It's .5 PPR. The Packers have aired the ball out a lot, and Love seems comfortable taking deep shots, which is Watson's specialty.

I had him last year, too, and he scored a bunch of touchdowns, but once he was a full-time player and when he was healthy, he was really good.

He played 80% of the team's snaps in six games. He had 39 targets, 24 receptions, 463 yards, and seven touchdowns in that timeframe. That's an average of 6.5 targets a game for 77 yards.

He also has elite traits. He is 6'4, ran a 4.36 forty, his speed and burst scores are both in the 95th percentile or higher and at his size, his catch radius is insane.

I like Tank Dell a lot, though. I did have to think about that deal, but I felt comfortable grabbing Watson under the assumption there is more upside there, and either guy would be my fourth-best WR anyway.

I would have all of those guys over Gainwell.

Would probably prioritize Roschon or Spears.

Roschon and Spears, if you own Gainwell then you def have more sh*ttier players than those to drop as well

Start Gibbs or Achane (Montgomery looks to be returning tonight)
Montgomery's return is a downgrade for Gibbs

I'm starting Achane over either Detroit RB

I disagree strongly here. Gainwell is one injury away from top 20 back on a fantastic run offense. Swift is an injury machine. If he gets 20 touches a week he will not make it to the end of the season.

You likely have someone else worth dropping for Roschon. Drop your bench WR who is never going to be anything more than a spot start ie a Zay Jones. Or a second qb or second te.

I really hope Gainwell gets dropped in my league. This talk is crazy. Maybe if it is a 10 team league but in a 12 team league Gainwell is a must stash in my book.

how many useful games has Gainwell had in his career, like 2? he's just not good just a slower more boring Achane, the Skyy Moore of RB's, cept Skyy had literally done nothing in his career to justify the dumb hype

The eagles average over 3.4 yards before contact per rush for their running backs. That is the mark of a great oline + run scheme. He is worth stashing. Now sure if Gainwell was really the worst guy on his bench then sure I think dropping him for Roschon makes sense but not a lotto guy like Spears. I bet he has some dead weight WRs or TEs to drop first though.

Um Kendrick Bourne is droppable for you. Also #1 player, #3 player, # 10 player all on the same team. So maybe don't bother asking us about dropping for a Roschon when you are insanely stacked otherwise.

Picked up Bourne after his big Week 1. You're saying to keep Gainwell, drop Bourne and add R. Johnson? My main question was with Gainwell, is he worth a roster spot?

I think you are vastly overrating Gainwell. The dude has exceeded 12.1 .5 PPR points three times in his career, and all three of those games came back in 2021. The team loves Boston Scott, too, so if Swift were to go down, I would bet on it being a gross committee with Gainwell, Scott, and Penny coming back into the fold. Then on top of that, you have Hurts stealing all of the goalline work.

Gainwell was the lead back in week one and finished with 9.4 fantasy points...I don't envision any scenario where Gainwell becomes a top-20 RB.

If your team looks like that, I'm going to assume other teams look similarly stacked. Gainwell/Roschon/Bourne will never be in your starting lineup outside of maybe a bye week. So it doesn't matter. If through injuries they are regular starters for you, you aren't going to win. Thus it doesn't matter.

You would probably be best off with a roster spot for Spears. Since he is the only player with real (lotto) chance of being a weekly starter if Henry gets hurt or traded.

I probably need to amend to top 25. Ahead of a Najee Harris, Rachaad White, Mattison, Miles Sanders kind of guy.

def rather have Najee and Miles, more consistent workload and some actual amount of talent coming off 1000+yd seasons which Gainwell will never have a realistic shot at in his career

Fields is my QB, so looking for a backup plan Rest of Season in case he has a similar trend like last week.

Waiver has Geno Smith and Russell Wilson. Thoughts on a back up for the rest of the year?

Geno. He has the third best pass catching group behind the Bengals & Vikings. More than likely Ken Walker will regress back to his rushing TD inefficiency and leave more points for Geno.

Other plus is teams can't really run on the seahawks but they can throw. Which means more points and passing game scripts.

Fields playing against that Denver D is tempting!

I think Fields has a roughly 3 point lower floor with monster upside. Depending on how your teams compare, I'd go with Fields just because the explosive game wins you a week, while Geno will allow you to win a week with other good performances.

If you bench fields and he has a monster game or just a great game then maybe you can flip him to the Trevor Lawrence manager for an upgraded WR or RB.

So importantly either way Justin Fields having a great game is great for you.

James Cook v MIA
Alvin Kamara v TB
DeVon Achane @BUF
Alexander Mattison @CAR
Miles Sanders v MIN

Got the first two penciled in as my starters, but Achane's big wk3 and Mattison facing one of the weakest run defenses and the weakest he's seen this year has me second guessing myself.

Keep Kamara and Cook as your guys. While Cook isn't getting goal line work he is crazy efficient in passing and running game. I don't think NO's RBs impressed in Kamara's absence imo so I have a feeling they won't ease him in like they'd probably like

So Aaron Jones tonight? I'm 0-3 and can't really afford to start another week in the hole.

Got Henny, Kamara, Achane, Ford, Gainwell, and Hill (hurt again I think)

Haven't decided who else to play but assuming a RB takes my flex spot, do I have three guys better than Jones?

Humble brag? Just joking, Aaron Jones is the sensible play. I'm in two leagues looking at hus teams he is starting in one and in the other they are starting Zek over him. They probably don't realize he is playing tonight and off injury.
